Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Can I just declare my love for not just Kennex but Dorain, right now? I can? Good. Because, wow. This show? Amazing. This week we get down to some real police work. A hostage situation. There's more than a few random casualties (but we're not given names, so it's totally okay….) and of course, the bad guys of the week. These bad guys, however, seem to be part of some religious extremist group. They've taken over the 25th floor of an office building with a nice sized group of hostages. Kennex and Dorian are the only two cops in the building, and even then their Captain demands they get out. Rules were made to be broken, right? Broken they are. With the help of a hostage, (one that's hiding in a supply closet and hasn't been noticed by the bad guys) they're able to help figure out the plan. The baddies ask for a super bomb of death, and a way out of dodge. Rudy, however, is clever and he manages to make a fake replica of the super death bomb of doom. Which, the bad guys don't ever notice the difference. Why? Turns out, they didn't care about the super bad bomb of death. This office building is just a distraction. See, in 2048, when there's a hostage situation, the police use a jamming device that halts all forms of electronic communication that isn't theirs. This just happens to take up a 3 block radius. The bad guys used this to their advantage, however. Knowing the police would use this, a second team struck their actual target. A building that holds palladium. Which is apparently super expensive and stuff! While the heist is going on, the baddies decide to take a few hostages and leave the rest with a bomb of their own. Enter Dorian, the super DNR of awesome. Storming in through an air vent and taking out most of the baddies before getting nearly killed. Kennex saves him at the last minute, they shut down the jamming devices, which enables the alarms to go off, and that shuts down the room the second team of bad guys are in. And, all the baddies? Wearing super cool devices that mask their identity with those of the extremest group. Bad guys impersonating bad guys. That's what the world comes to. But, all's well that ends well! Dorian survives and he and John Kennex seem to work amazingly together. Futuristic cop show? Yeah…I sure hope we get a full season!

Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...The Team has faced superheroes in the making, Asgardians, and crazy alien diseases…this week they faced demonic ghost possession? Wait, that can't be right, can it? Of course it is….isn't….maybe….not. At the end of last week's show, Ward and May were seen going into May's room, presumably to get wasted….well, turns out they did more than drink their troubles away (hope Skye doesn't find out!). When an explosion at a Particle Acceleration Complex happens and kills some people, safety inspector Hannah is blamed. More weird occurrences keep happening and the Team believes Hannah is telekinetic, so they venture off to bring her in. One thing leads to another, however, when they arrive. Hannah is outside of her home, with police, and a bunch of angry people wanting to get their revenge, or something. The Team attempts to calm things down, but when a police car drives itself towards the team, well, that's when May steps in. She shoots Hannah with a tranquilizer and off to the Plane they go! Let the observation and interrogation begin! Meanwhile! Fitz and Simmons decide that since Skye never went through the academy, she needs to be pranked, just a bit. They tell her an outrageous story of how May got the nickname "The Calvary". Apparently she fought off 100 soldiers, by herself. Ward later corrects this to 20. In the midst of this, the tests show that Hannah has no tele kinetic abilities. That's good, considering Simmons doesn't even believe those are possible. Hannah confides in Coulson and May that she doesn't have strange powers…she's being punished by a demon for the accident that killed people…. Not possible, right? Maybe a bit possible, because shortly after they leave her in the cell, the plane's power supply is cut and they need to make an emergency crash landing. Nobody's injured in the landing, though! This demonic figure keeps showing up, however. It traps Fitz and Simmon's in a supply closet, before attacking Ward and locking him in with the diatomic duo. Then he goes after Coulson and Skye, locking them in Coulson's office. It's May that somewhat figures it out. She takes Hannah off the plane and into a barn, because they're near a farm, where all good things happen… There's an epic fight scene between May and the demon….as it turns out, it's not a demon. His name is Tobias and he was a maintenance worker with a huge crush on Hannah. He loosened the bolts that caused the explosion that killed those people. Tobias was merely attempting to get Hannah's attentions. In the process, he opened a rift and has since been caught between two dimensions. May talks him into letting go of Hannah…and he finally does; disappearing for the last time. Coulson, in the meantime, reveals May's true story. He had been with her. She didn't fight off twenty men. They'd gone on a 'welcoming party', unarmed…and it went really bad. May ended up saving all the hostages, but at the price of her warmth and caring personality. Coulson doesn't think she's a lost cause, however, and that's why he brought her onto the Team. Agent May, in the end, pulls a prank on Fitz, unbeknownst to the engineer. Proof that her playful personality is still in there. And with that we're Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. free until December 10th! Weird! Hopefully in the next episode we get some more tidbits on the Team...any of their pasts…and of course, what happened to Agent Coulson. Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...With drama boiling up at the end of last week's episode, this week kicked the drama up a notch. First, we have a rogue Tomorrow Person; kidnapping women and doing….unpleasant things to them. At Ultra, Stephen is getting a rash of crap from some of his 'coworkers' and decides it's high time for a break. Being a double agent is wearing thin on him, and really, he just wants to be normal for once. Normal, however, isn't his style. Stephen starts using his powers in school to earn him a spot on the varsity basketball team. Of course, Uncle Jed finds out and decides to take action. He places a cuff on Stephen that takes away his powers. Wait a minute. Stop the recap. Why he doesn't just place these on the countless other's he's killed, or stripped of their powers, is a little confusing, but hey! Bad guys have no logic. Anyway...once John and Cara find this out they all but kick him out. So, looks like its time to be normal, right? Playing normal is easier said than done. But, Stephen pulls some of it off. In the mean time, Cara confesses to John that she slept with Stephen. John's decidedly shocked, upset, and wondering if this makes them even. Because he figured she did this as revenge for him not telling her about the fact that he could kill. Confused? Me too! But, according to Cara, that's not why she did it. She feels some strong connection with Stephen, but still loves John. Does this make sense to anyone else? Undeniably there is some weird connection between them, what that means, I've no idea. Stephen's aware of it too. To top it off? Stephen reads Astrid's mind and finds out she's in love with him. Quite possibly, the biggest, love….tangled mess of messdom! Am I right? On the brighter end of things, Stephen and John get into a full blown fist fight. Over Cara…where Cara comes in, breaks it up, and says she's with John. That Stephen was a mistake…despite having some strange 'connection' to him, that they both decide to completely ignore…because reasons? Stephen ends up finding where the rogue Tomorrow Person is and ends up saving a girl he had kidnapped. Of course, Stephen gets his butt kicked…and he kind of dies for a little bit. But leave it to John and Cara to save the day. Stephen's dad comes to him and tells him to keep fighting…to protect their people. Then John performs CPR and saves Stephen. By the end of it, Jed removes the bracelet, Stephen tells Astrid he loves both her and Cara and John and Cara are…still kind of a thing? Seriously! Could there have been anymore drama in this weeks show? My head is still reeling from it all. It's one giant tangled mess of feels! Waiting for the next show might just kill me! At least I'll have time to sort out my feelings about all this. Russell was the only one not causing any drama this week! I think he's my favorite until I can sort out how I feel! Alright, so what did you guys think? Who should Cara be with? What about Astrid? And Stephen's dad is alive?! Really!? That's really kinda cool…but where is he? Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...A case that's seemingly normal! For once, this episode didn't make me cry, or feel like crying….it did make me angry at John Winchester though. But, hey! It's important to have a normal case once in a while. Especially when flashbacks are involved and we get a little more insight into the world of Sam and Dean Winchester's childhood. The boys get called in to investigate a strange murder on a farm. Only, Dean know's the guy that owns it, and the farm is a place for troubled youth's to go instead of jail time. How does Dean know this? Because when Dean was 16, he spent 2 months there. Why? Because he gambled away food money and was caught stealing peanut butter and bread from a local store. John decided to leave him there for two months, and shipped 12 year-old Sam off to Bobby's (such good parenting there.) For Dean, the 2 months are a chance at a normal life. He gets comfortable, bonds with the gentle farm owner (Sonny), and sees what its like to have a normal father figure. Flash to present day and things aren't all that normal. One of Sonny's adult helpers was killed by a tractor that hadn't worked in years. It sounds, and looks, like a ghost haunting. While Sam and Dean are there, another helper is killed, and a kid injured. Also, Dean's busy dealing with his memories of the place, and of Robin. Robin, just happens to be his age, runs a diner, in town, and was the girl Dean dated while there. She does, indeed, remember him. He did leave the night of the big dance without a single word or reason…tensions mount on that front, but are cut short by the appearance of a very angry, very malicious, ghost in the kitchen. Sam is the one to figure out the ghost's origin. Timmy, the small boy, newest arrival, and orphan, is being 'possessed' (in a way) by his deceased mother. The two were in a car accident that lead to her saving him before burning to death in the car. Since then, she's stuck to him; protecting him from any and everything. There is no salt-and-burn this time. Dean talks Timmy into convincing the ghost to leave, to move on. Surprisingly, that actually works. For once, there is a bit of a happy ending. Sonny let's the kid stay, there's only two casualties, and Robin and Dean find their closure… As it turns out, all those years ago, when John showed back up for Dean; Sonny offered to chase John off…but Dean chose to go with because John had Sam with him. Dean left with his father for the sake of his brother; sacrificing his own happiness. Which seems to be a major recurring theme with this show…. Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Sexbots….just let that sink in for a few seconds. Weird? Little bit. But, we kinda saw it coming. It's a futuristic show with Androids…how could this not happen. I certainly didn't think they'd pull that card on their second episode. They did though, and as far as second episodes go? Not too shabby! Alright, so, we start with a very attractive woman, a nerdy guy, and a hotel room. Surely, nothing will go wrong. Except when two other guys show up, kill the one nerdy guy, and leave with the hot chick. Normal, everyday, stuff that cops see, probably. No DNA was left behind by the murdering duo, except for a handprint left by the girl.who was a Sexbot…the handprint, however, was registered to a girl who was decidedly blonde and had been missing for some time. Not the redheaded Sexbot that left with two murderers. Sexbots with human DNA? That, apparently, is illegal. Who knew!? In the process of the investigation, a mother is taken, leaving her kid alone in a car. The kid, Victor, saw the whole thing. Kennex and Dorian get the chance to question the kid. And after Dorian gives Kennex a hard time about the cop's inability to connect with children (and strangely cats), the Detective takes the opportunity to prove the DRN wrong. Not to mention Victor get's this cool toy Giraffe on Kennex's desk! I want the giraffe toy! Victor is able to tell them the type of vehicle his mother was taken in. As it turns out, these Sexbot makers are kidnapping women, taking their skin, and putting it onto the Sexbots. Synthetic skin doesn't compare to the real thing. And really, go big or go home, right? That's what these guys think too. The nerdy guy from the beginning of the episode? Turns out he was a Sexbot maker himself, only he found out what these guys were doing. Partnerships fell through, and well, he ended up dead. As did the redheaded Sexbot. Kennex and Dorian get their hands on one and take it down to Rudy (The police departments chief expert on anything android…and, apparently lab work and all that) in order for them to find where these girls are being kept, her memory needs to be accessed. In, fantastic timing, the do save the young mom, and kill (or maybe their guns were set to stun) all but the major bad guy behind it. Sadly, though, the Sexbot, in their custody has to be deactivated because she has human skin. Dorian decides he wants to be present for this…and it's utterly sad. Also, do people not watch what happens when we treat robots and the like badly? Remember The Matrix or I, Robot? I mean, come on! The moral of this episode? Karl Urban is number 2 on my top 10 actors list; always be nice to robots; and there are still no flying cars in 2048. Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Ever wonder who clean's up after Superheroes and Villains have their big show downs; destroying cities? Turns out, S.H.I.E.L.D. does! In the aftermath of the events of Thor: The Dark World, S.H.I.E.L.D. sends Coulson and his team (along with other agents) to help clean up London and store away any alien bits left over. Such a glamorous job for a talented team of expert agents. Meanwhile, in Norway (land of the Nords!) a couple chops down a tree, splits it open, and finds a strange, engraved, piece of a weapon. When touched, the weapon unleashes the rage, anger, and hate in a person and allows them to do superhuman feats. Like, throwing cars, killing other humans with one punch, and being really, soothingly, angry. The team gets called in from clean up duty to investigate. Thank's to Simmons and Fitz, they're able to make a 3D printed model of what the object from the tree looks like. With elaborate carvings and strange writings, it's a mystery. Time to call in an expert. Agent Coulson pays a special visit to Professor Elliot Randolph. An expert in all things Norse mythology Randolph identifies the object as a piece of a Berserker Staff…apparently it's an Asgardian weapon that unleashes rage in order to make warriors better. This one was left here because it's owner decided to break it into three pieces and live on Earth in peace. Touching story, really. With a clue as to where the next piece may be, the team heads off to find it. And find it they do, only they're not the only ones after the remaining pieces of the staff. Professor Randolph found the next piece. Agent Ward attempts to take it from him, by grabbing the object…and becomes 'infected' with the unleashed rage. The staff piece doesn't stay with the professor for long. The couple who originally found the first piece show up and take the second. Randolph is taken into custody by the team and brought onto the plane. Here, let's just take a moment to appreciate Agent Ward (Brett Dalton) and his shirtless scene. Why? Because let's be honest, we all secretly wished we had abs like that. Ward expresses his unsureness to contain his anger and rage to Coulson, who decides to send him in to interrogate Randolph. As it so happens, Randolph is the Asgardian who stayed and the Staff is his…in the meantime, Ward's anger is fueled by a single memory. One of a little boy in a well, calling for help. His brother. As they go to retrieve the last piece of the staff, Ward is confronted with the memory in full. Of how he and some other kid watched his brother in the well for some time, Grant attempting to lower the rope to him; the other kid threatening to throw him down there if he did… Never to be out done, a group of people (followers of the couple from before) show up with the third and final piece. Grant fights them off with the two pieces of the staff. He's exhausted by the end of it. The girl from the very beginning shows up. Ward goes to get up and fight her, but it's May who stops him. She picks up the pieces of the staff (which fuse back together) and fights flawlessly (as always). May sets the staff down and walks away. The Team decides to stay for the night. Skye attempts to talk to Ward, who brushes her off. As he's about to enter his hotel room, May stands in the doorway of her own just down the hall; a bottle of alcohol in hand. She leaves the door open or Ward…who walks in and closes it. Agent Coulson has a dream about Tahiti. And the show ends. Because, just when the pieces of the puzzle start to fall into place, they're yanked away! Did Ward and May hookup? Is Coulson okay? And What about Fitz and Simmons!? Will they ever get together!? My two biggest questions are: What really happened to Coulson. And, are we going to get anymore Cameos!? Cameos would be awesome. I'm talking to you Jeremy Renner. Written by ShaeFrom playing a Doctor working on the Enterprise to being a Cop, Karl Urban sure know's how to make a splash in the world of science fiction. This time he's playing John Kennex, a cop in the year 2048 (our not too distant future). Kennex is just returning back to duty on the LAPD after a two year hiatus. In this future, cop's are assigned a Synthetic (android cops) as partners. Within the first few minutes of the Pilot we see Kennex in a fire fight; his human parter shot against a car, dying. As Kennex attempted to get him out, he's hit, and loses his right leg. Flash to present, Kennex has a new synthetic leg, and soon a new Synthetic partner. Nicknamed AMEX, these android cops are now mandatory for all cop's to ride along with. Of course, Kennex doesn't get along with his new model. One thing leads to another and suddenly the machine is being shoved out of a moving car and destroyed. This leads to a new partner, Dorian. Dorian is a DRN, a predecessor of the AMEX. DRN's were made to be as human as possible where AMEX have no human emotions. Dorian is different from the very start. Bring on the sass, because this DNR has plenty of it. Dorian has no problems with telling Kennex off, in fact, he does so in the middle of the police department. The two eventually do get along; on a sting, Kennex trusts Dorian to lead him into a situation where AMEX's are telling their human counterparts to evacuate. The Syndicate, as the big baddies in the series, show their faces from the start, fighting the cops in the scene where Kennex loses his leg and partner. They show their faces again when they steal some medical supplies, kidnap and kill a cop with them; all in the search for something being kept in evidence. That's just the start. Soon, the Syndicate is attacking the police department; firing off en EMP to take care of all the AMEX. Dorian is unaffected, Kennex saves the Captain's life; and the main man behind the attack is taken into custody. As far as Pilot's go, this one wasn't that bad. Establishes the world, the characters, and sets up for a full (hopefully) season. Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...I'm not going to lie to you guys, this week's episode totally made me cry. And I'm not one to cry, often (or really ever), so that's saying something. The upside of all the tears is we got to learn about Russell's past. Once thought as just the loyal sidekick to John and Cara; it turns out his past is the one that broke my heart the most. Russell had a loving family who pushed him to pursue the piano. Of which, he's insanely talented at. As he's playing at a competition, something strange happens. The keys start playing by themselves. He tries to explain this to his father afterwards, but the man will not pay it any mind and brushes it off. Being smart, he figures out most of his powers pretty quick. Telepathy gets him to win some pretty big stakes private poker games, with some less than reputable men. Russell's luck runs out, however, when he's accused of cheating and nearly killed for it. He manages to teleport away in the nick of time; just a few feet. Grabs the roll of cash he brought with him, and runs. Flash to present day and we see that Russell and Stephen are in a pool hall, hustling pool for cash. Until some hot chick challenges them, hustles them, and takes off. In their per suite they find this mystery girl, is one of them. She's not willing to cooperate though, kicks their butts, and runs. Time to call in Jed, right? Nope, he's out of town. Leaving Darcy (Stephen's 'partner') in charge of this one. Darcy is a Tomorrow People working for Jed, but unlike Stephen, she's dedicated to the cause. She is nice enough to hide the fact that she ran into Astrid (Stephen's best friend) on their last killing spree (last week's episode). Willing to withhold information from Jed seems to not be her style, but hey, maybe she's got a soul after all? In the meantime, Cara and John are still at odds, since Cara can't forgive him for keeping secrets from her. Russell finds out that his dad has died of a heart attack thanks to their super computer (who reminds me a lot of JARVIS from Iron Man), TIM. As Russell sets out to head to the funeral, John decides to accompany him; leaving Cara to hold down the fort. With John gone, Stephen convinces Cara to help him hunt down the girl from the bar, Piper. One thing leads to another, she gets away, Ultra agents are about to swoop in, and Stephen decides to kiss her. It stops them from getting caught, good plan, right? Eventually, they find Piper again. Cara helps save her and they convince her they're out to help her, not kill her. TIM makes a startling discovery; Piper is really Darcy's little sister. Russell starts a bar fight in some small town near his home one. John helps him, because that's what bro's do….and then they're arrested, sorta. With no ID's on them, John offer's Russell's real name and his father's. The cop buys it, after checking into it, lets them go. Russell's not sure he's ready to face his mom…it turns out, the night he came home with the money, the thugs followed them. He's in the midst of telling his father off when they nearly bust down the door. Russell hides, per his father's request, and watches as two thugs burst into the house. They search for him; dad offers their money back, but it seems they're not out for just money. They want Russell. When his father refuses to give him up, the thugs result to breaking his hand…with a hammer (cringe moment). In the end, they leave. Russell does one more piano concert. His dad waves to him from behind the curtain across the stage after he's finished; cast on his broken hand. Russell waves back and then teleports out and away. Never to see his father again. That having been the last time he saw his father…It's understandable why he wouldn't want to see his mother. But, with John there to support him (as friends do) he goes, talks to her…and plays one final piano piece. Cry worthy? Maybe a bit…but it gets worse. Meanwhile, Stephen arranges a meeting between Darcy and Piper. It's a happy reunion…until Ultra cars start showing up. Cara warns Stephen, who warns Piper and Darcy. Turns out Darcy called them in. The plan is to have Piper's powers taken away. Thankfully, Stephen talks some sense into Piper (who almost agrees to this) and Darcy and they make a break for the back door. Stephen and Piper hide while Darcy tells the agents to stand down. The kill squad, however, isn't buying it. Just as Piper and Stephen are about to be discovered, Darcy teleports a gun into her hand, and starts shooting out kneecaps (you go girl!). Seconds later, she's shot, several times, left to fall, dead before Piper and Stephen's eyes. That's the part when I started crying. Thankfully, Mattie wasn't here to judge me. Stephen takes Piper back to their HQ. Later, he converses the story to Cara…and confesses that he thinks about her all the time…she confesses the same. They kiss again….then they start to strip one another. It seems, for all intense and purposes, that Cara's moved on, without telling John. Love triangle? Sure, why not! It doesn't end there. It turns out, Jed's been off spying on some girl, a Tomorrow People in her own right. Well, more like a Tomorrow Woman. He confronts her about using her powers; the two have a history together, apparently. Then things get steamy for them. Her names Morgan and she doesn't mind using her power's on Jed…who also has no protests. What's going on!? All these weird crazy hookups; not to mention Cara's cheating, Piper and Russell's loss. What's going to happen when John get's back? (Seriously, what's Cara thinking? Hasn't she seen John's abs!?) So many questions! This show manages to play with my feelings so violently! Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is never one to disappoint; this week was no exception. We start with a visit to The Hub. What's the Hub? It's kind of like their head quarters. Here the Team is given a mission. And by the Team, I mean, Agent Ward and Fitz. On a mission that's only classified for level 7, we find that a man like Ward and one like Fitz are needed to stop an all out war. The Overkill Device is a machine that has the potential to kill more than just a few people, and win a factoring country a war. Agent Hand makes an appearance to run this covert mission from the Hub, along side Agent Jasper Sitwell (also seen from the Marvel movie shorts!). The mission is simple; Ward and Fitz go in, Fitz deactivates the devices, they're extracted, and the compound is flattened to the ground by S.H.I.E.L.D. Easy? Never! Simmons is more than displeased with Fitz being sent out onto the field; as they're not field agents, but scientists. She helps him back, watches him go, and waits anxiously. She doesn't have to wait long, however, because Skye is always up for getting into trouble. This time, she brings Simmons with her. In an attempt to find out what's really going on with the mission, Skye and Simmons 'break into' the Hub, so to speak. Skye has Simmons place a USB drive into a computer panel. Along the way, they're interrupted by Sitwell. At first, Simmons tries everything to distract him, (she even flirts) before finally hitting him with taser thingy and effectively knocking him out. Skye has a few minutes to sneak into the files. She finds the one about her and thinks about digging further, before she goes into the other file about the current mission. As it turns out, there is no extraction plan for Fitz and Ward. They're on a suicide mission. Skye tells Coulson, who yells at her about snooping. Then he heads off to have words with Hand; who informs Coulson that Agent's Romanoff (Black Widow) and Barton (Hawkeye) never have extraction plans and they come out of missions just fine. On a side not, I'm totally needing out on the name dropping! Hopefully we get a future cameo of either agent? I wouldn't mind seeing Jeremy Renner reprise his role on the small screen! Meanwhile, Fitz and Ward are fairing….kind of well. Before they even reach the boarder they encounter some trouble. Wandering into a bar for supposed information from an old source ends up getting them captured and nearly killed. Fitz, however, saves them with a well placed EMP burst that shuts off the power in the bar. He ends up fixing everything again, gaining the trust of the people they're trying to get help from. Because of this, Fitz and Ward are able to sneak across the boarder…only, they're shot at, their ride is compromised, and their left in the middle of nowhere for some time. Eventually, they make it to the compound they're supposed to be at. They find the Overkill Device and set to work on getting it deactivated. In this time Ward has realized just what's going on; that they're on their own in getting out. It seems like he's going to talk Fitz into leaving early, so he can deactivate the device and give the scientist a head start. Fitz disagrees with this plan. He's "just as much an agent" as Ward is. They manage to turn the weapon into their favor before deactivating it and trying to get out. A wall of enemy soldiers with guns is waiting for them. Call in the Calvary! May, Coulson, Simmons, and Skye show up, in the plane, to save their butts. Soon, everyone's back on the plane, safe, sound, and happy. Almost happy. Coulson confronts Skye with the information he found out about her parents. He tells her that a female S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent dropped her off at an orphanage as a child, and that's all they found out so far. In truth, the agent in question was killed. Still unnamed and unsure if this was a mission related death, Coulson propositions Agent May to help him find out the full story. Afterwards, we see Coulson, alone, in his room, on the phone. Attempting to access a file on his time in Tahiti. He's then told he doesn't have the clearance level to access this information. Really!? What's going on with Phil!? What is so important that Fury has it marked a higher level clearance than Agent Phil Coulson's? Who's Skye's real parents? (I have a theory on this!) And, more importantly, when are Fitz and Simmons going to kiss already!? Come on, we all know they need to. Ah well. Next week we get to see what happened immediately after Thor: The Dark World! Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Parties are supposed to be fun; unless you're a Tomorrow People (Person?) with a secret organization trying to kill you. Then parties can be down right bloody. This week, the Tomorrow People left us with a few bomb shells. First, Stephen steals a vial of Ultra's "cure" so a 17 year old genius can derive an antidote. Then Stephen and Astrid (his supposed best friend) make up. This has all the makings of a happy episode. That is, until Jed tells Stephen that Ultra HQ wants to meet him. The same people who ordered the death of his father, want to have a one on one with Stephen. We can all handle that right? Wait, there's more? Oh there's more. Kurt (the kid who was robbing banks a few episodes ago) snuck off to see his mom. John throws a fit because it's reckless and stupid. Not to mention he could get caught. Cara comes to his rescue, saying they could all use a night out to be normal. John disagrees so she challenges him to a fight. If she wins, they get a night out. If he wins, they never mention it again. Sounds like a good deal? Cara, being awesome, wins and they all excitedly plan for a night on the town. Stephen gets dragged off by Jed to meet the head of Ultra. Who turns out to be a Tomorrow People. Whys he ordering the death of his own kind? He'd like to be on the winning side of this war. Still doesn't make much sense, but hey, whatever. Stephen gets subjected to a nice, friendly, telepathic mind raping and sent on his way. Now it's off to homecoming with Astrid! All while Cara tries to get John to come out with them. Now, I don't know about you, but I was hoping it would all end well from here. I was wrong. Stephen doesn't make it to homecoming, because Jed snags him up to watch a mission. Astrid follows. John, on the other hand, shows up at the party and surprises Cara. It has the makings of a good night. Until they all realize they can't use their powers. Until John notices the little device under a table that blocks their powers. Jed and Stephen stand over head, watching as undercover Ultra agents open fire on the crowd below. Stephen won't stand to see his friends slaughtered so he breaks the circuit breaker; giving them a chance to get free. Just before they do, Cara witnesses John shoot an Ultra agent. They make it back to their hideout. Many are shot and injured. The cute, 17 year old genius is shot bad, so Stephen breaks protocol and takes her to the ER. Cara confronts John about what she saw. Surprisingly, she doesn't care that he can kill, she cares that he kept it a secret from her. Stephen shows back up to say the girl should be okay. Only to find Cara telepathically scanning people from the group. They'd been set up by someone on the inside. Someone had informed Ultra of their plans. Stephen thinks it's him, by accident. Just as Cara is about to connect with him, Kurt confesses. In a rage Cara attacks him. Kurt claims that Jed threatened to kill his mom; that he went back to see her again. He claims that Jed said no one would get hurt. Never trust the actor who played Lucifer. Cara doesn't care. She injects him with the stolen "cure", taking his powers away. He's banished. Astrid is waiting in Stephen's room when he finally comes home. She demands answers and Stephen can't seem to keep things hidden anymore. He takes her to the spot they became friends; teleporting. Fade to black! What! Just what! Astrid now knows about Stephen. Cara's mad at John. And what about Jed? Stephen did help the Tomorrow People escape. Guess he can kiss his job at Ultra goodbye? Maybe? Will John and Cara be okay? What about the girl who got shot? And who is the head of Ultra?! Is Stephen's dad really dead? So many questions left unanswered! |
