Guys, did you know that the Holidays are happening? It is a complete shock to me. Seriously, I wasn’t expecting things to be moving so fast. Well, in just over a week we’ll be done with two major Holidays this year, and I do apologize on the slacking. But, I have to admit, I am a chronic late shopper. It doesn’t matter how early I pretend that I’ll start shopping. It. Never. Happens. So, if you’re like me, and not done, that’s totally okay! I’ve got a list of creative, and fun, gifts that we can give others and ourselves, and I’m going to share a few of them with you. One of the many gift idea’s I’ve had this year around is something I’ve been actually applying to my family this year. There’s always an argument of which is better, the book or the movie, right? Why not do both? The book/movie combo will please, and it really is two gifts in one. My uncle is a huge book nerd, and recently a film adaptation came out on DVD of one of his favorite authors. I know he doesn’t have the movie, or the book, because he may have said as much, so guess what he’s getting? This can also be easily applied to anyone. Like, The Fault in our Stars would make a great book/DVD combo….if you really want that person to spend their whole day crying. But, you get my point. Now, before you give objections and say this doesn’t work for all films, you’re totally right. But it does work for a lot of them. The Princess Diaries is a great example of a movie I didn’t know was based on a book. Like, for real…it’s actually a series. I didn’t know this! I thought it was some cute Disney movie! Thankfully, in today's day and age, we’ve come to have some really amazing comic based movies. So for this, I suggest pairing a comic book with said movie. Which is really a nice way of trying to get non-geeks to be geeky! My dad didn’t know Guardians of the Galaxy was a comic series. Yes, that hurt my insides, but at the same time, it’s also going to be a great gift to give him. Then again, he is mildly nerdy and the reason I got into comic books. Seeing X-Men, both the cartoon series, and the movies, with him have always been fun. However, he didn’t get a chance to see Days of Future Past. Thankfully, he had that comic growing up and knows the storyline better than I do, but giving him that movie adaptation as well as a completion comic of the story are something I know he’ll enjoy. Of course this doesn’t work for everyone. If I gave my mom a Batman comic along with a Batman movie, she’d still ask me why he wasn’t in the Avengers and my brain will explode. But, there are plenty of movies and books out there that go hand in hand with various tastes, genres, and geek states of being. They are, however, fun to debate. It’s always a that way in my house; the movie adaptations are sometimes better than the books and vise versa. Before you yell at me for saying that (and yes, I did just say movies being better than books) you should know, it’s not always true. There are exceptions to every rule, though. But, we won’t get into that. Instead, let’s journey to the stranger side of things. Like book adaptations of television shows. Yes, those are a thing, and for hardcore fans, they’re a pretty amazing thing. Do you love Supernatural? You know what, don’t even answer, because yes, you do. Is someone you know or love a fan of Supernatural? Yes, yes they are as well. Why? Because it’s an amazing show. Did you know they have novels? I didn’t. I hadn’t a single idea that was a thing until Mattie found them in the bookstore. Guys, seriously, I had to buy every single one they had. Which ended up only being two, but the point is, they exist. Not just for Supernatural either! Doctor Who, Torchwood, Buffy, and so many more. Of course they have Star Wars and Star Trek novels as well, but it’s not as magical as Supernatural. (I might be biased). On thing I also wasn’t expecting to see were novels based on games. Mass Effect, Halo, and to my utter delight Assassins' Creed are just a few of the titles I spotted. You can now give someone a book based off a videogame and have it not be all about how to beat the game itself. These novelizations of shows and games we all love are just a few of the fun things we’ve found at stores. Of course, you can buy True Blood and Game of Thrones, if you really wanted to, but hey, that’s not quite as fun as buying a video game and a novel about said video game, right? Or maybe it is! Lastly, I know there are a lot of anime people out there. I, myself, used to be one! Well, there’s always the argument there of which is better, the manga or the anime. The truth is, both are amazingly awesome. And sometimes, they are just as different as books and movie adaptations. It all truly depends on which you like better, saw first, or maybe you just like bugging your friends by contradicting them. Whichever, various, ways you like it, or discuss it, books, movies, anime, manga, and even video games, all go hand in hand with one another, and we all have our favorite adaptations. One thing we can agree on, though, is how utterly awesome POPs’ figures are. Happy Holidays everyone!

Written by John Edward BetancourtWhile going to the theater to watch a movie that you've been counting down the days to watch with your friends and family is a wonderful experience unto itself, there is something to be said about the wait to get that movie home and into your collection when it comes to home video. It's equally as unique an experience to swing by the store to pick up a copy the day of release and rush home to get it into your home theater and recreate the wonder of seeing it on the silver screen, and that's exactly what happens with the new blu ray release of Guardians of the Galaxy. It's a disc I've been dying to get into my collection and it was completely and utterly worth the wait, and it is a release that delivers through and through. First and foremost, the film looks as gorgeous as it did in theaters, with flawless colors and crisp visuals and the rocking soundtrack that we all fell in love with is all part of a lovely, clean and rich DTS experience. But of course, I think we have all come to expect that from our high definition releases, so the big question is, how are those special features? The answer is awesome. Obviously there are a handful of deleted scenes, but the best part of the extras this go round are the gag reel and the fascinating featurettes that take us deep into the filmmaking process. Yes, one learns an incredible amount of how this universe was brought to life with some lovely insight from Director James Gunn and it is a fascinating process to learn how they brought Guardians to the big screen. But all of the special features aside, this is a disc you need to add to your collection as soon as possible. It's a wonderful release, and one you'll be watching over and over and why not? After all Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the most unique films I've ever seen and the fact that the joy and fun we experienced in theaters is perfectly recreated at home speaks to the power of this motion picture. Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...There may come a time when everyone gets a happy ending. Such a time, however, isn’t now. With things finally seeming to be in the right direction, Elsa melts the massive wall of ice around the town. For once, magic goes smoothly, but there is one other thing. There is a barrier around the town once more. This time, if the line is crossed, there is no returning to Storybrooke. Not to mention, magic doesn’t work outside the town. With such a thing in place, it’s hard to imagine leaving. For one family, that choice is made for them. Marian seems to be all right. She plays with her son while Regina and Robin talk. Prior to that conversation, Marian expressed her permission, of sorts to Regina. The maiden wishes to be chosen, not seen as an obligation. Robin has chosen Regina. Duty and vows be damned, he wants to be happy. While the situation is complicated, Robin can’t justify being with Marian if it means neither of them being truly happy. Just as it seems the once evil queen is about to get her happy ending, fate intervenes. While Marian’s heart was removed once she’d been hit with the spell that turned her to ice, it wasn’t completely untouched. Marian is slowly falling under the spell again. There isn’t a cure, except to have her cross the town line where magic doesn’t exist. She can’t go alone. However. Robin and his son need to go with her. With Regina’s insistence, Robin agrees, reluctantly. The goodbye is one of the saddest I’ve ever seen. Gold decides to talk to Regina, and tempts her to kill Marian. Regina refuses, knowing she’s doing the right thing. Watching them cross the line, however, it’s not easy…while her happy ending is falling through, Gold is getting his. Or so he thinks. He wakes Belle and tells her to pack, while he prepares for the spell that will free him from the dagger and grant him the use of his magic in a world without any. It will only cost Hook his life. Which, Gold seems to be completely okay with. And if that wasn’t enough, Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff still need to find a way home. Crossing the town line is out of the question, and shouldn’t really be an option…What will they do? Gold needs them all out of the way, especially Anna, before they find out he knows her and she knows of his evil…so he takes Hook’s heart in hand and tells Emma, through Hook, where to find a portal, or, rather, a magical doorway that will lead them back home to Arendelle. Emma is skeptical, so she decides to open the door first. Thankfully it is the right door, and the three end up in their home. Taking their kingdom back over takes no time, and within the blink of an eye, it’s time for Anna’s wedding. At least one couple is getting their Happily ever after. Speaking of, Belle is blissfully packing for her supposed trip to see the world. Things never go as planned, however. Henry shows up to help her with some things, and mostly asks a few questions. It’s his clumsy antics that have Belle stumbling onto a startling revelation. It starts with a gauntlet. One that Rumple had found in his old life, when Belle was merely a servant to him. This gauntlet has the ability to show any enemy their weakness. Belle had been kidnapped and nearly killed by Ursula, Cruella, and Maleficent, before Rumple gave them the gauntlet back. Finding it, however, proved he’d lied. Good timing. Emma and Snow found out from Anna that she knew Gold and that he was a bad man. Emma figured out Gold needed them out of the way, and they’re frozen by him just before he tries to crush Hook’s heart. Belle’s good timing saves Hook. She’s found the real dagger and isn’t messing around. She order Rumple to drop the heart and makes him take her to the town line. In her rage of betrayal and hurt, she orders him to cross the twon line. Confessing her hurt, and knowing he’d never choose her over magic. Forced to do as he’s told, Rumple pleads with her. Tells her how scared he truly is, but she won’t have any of it. Once upon a time, she saw the man within the beast. Now she only sees a power hungry beast. This isn’t the end, however. As Gold travels to find the three Queens of Darkness. With their help, he plans to get back to Storybrooke…and perhaps finish what he started? Make it up to Belle? Change? In the end, It won’t matter. On a brighter note, Henry has found a massive library in the house with the portal to Arendelle. The library contains blank storybooks. They’ve found where the author lives…Emma is on board with helping Regina find her happy ending, and things might just work out for the better. Written by John Edward BetancourtI have to admit that the first time I heard that Marvel was bringing forward a show strictly about S.H.I.E.L.D. and its agents, I was skeptical. After all, this is an organization that from my experience was always second fiddle to the big boys and girls of the Marvel Universe. They would never outshine the likes of Thor and Tony Stark, so how on earth would this work? Well naturally, I gave the show a chance because Marvel has yet to do me wrong, yet while I enjoyed seeing the return of Phil Coulson, it was hard for me to make the show a priority week in and week out. Sure there were elements of danger, the awesome tie in to Thor: The Dark World but it felt like something was missing. After all, S.H.I.E.L.D. was everywhere, they always had the organization to fall back upon so my first impression of the show was that we would be spending week after week hunting crazy alien artifacts and dealing with a "freak of the week", so...pretty standard fare. But then it happened, after watching and waiting...Captain America: The Winter Solider arrived and the show suddenly had my attention, since Winter Solider rocked the Marvel Cinematic Universe...and the fallout from that directly tied into the show at the same time. Quite frankly HYDRA was the best thing to happen to the show, for as we learned, they were everywhere and in a matter of minutes, we watched our beloved S.H.I.E.L.D. be dismantled before our eyes and I could no longer look away. The characters were always likeable, but now they were in legitimate danger week in and week out. Throw in Ward's betrayal, Coulson's mysterious desire to draw what would later be the map to the Kree city and the show was no longer standard fare. This was a show about heroes and villains, spies and betrayal and I was completely and utterly hooked. Now it is a show that I cannot miss and they continued to up their game. Season two has been gritty and powerful so far, pushing the characters to their limits and occasionally their breaking points as the show continues to break new ground and present new challenges to the remnants of S.H.I.E.L.D. and now with the introduction of the Inhumans element, the show continues to break new ground. This show completely won me over simply by taking chances, by not giving us a run of the mill show anymore, and quite frankly I'm wondering if the slow start to surprise us was always part of the plan. Either way, I'm impressed and I can't wait to see where Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. takes us next. Written by John Edward BetancourtTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Oh what an early Christmas present Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. bestowed upon its fans this week. After a season and a half build up of Skye's mysterious past, the alien city hanging over us by way of crazy drawings, the show finally brought everything together in incredible fashion in "What They Become" and last night's revelations will forever change the show in a good way. Of course Hydra joined S.H.I.E.L.D. on the hunt for the underground city of the Kree, making use of a plasma drill to get to the city as quickly as possible and as Coulson's team made preparations to blow the city to bits, Ward finally fulfilled a promise to Skye, by getting her to sit down and meet her father after all this time. This is a meeting that of course, went about as awful as we expected it to go. Daddy was as awkward as ever and Skye had every right in remaining untrustworthy of him. But before we could discover exactly what made Skye so special, Whitehall and his Hydra cronies confront Ward over his decision to bring Skye to this special location and discovers she can also touch the Diviner. But before Whitehall can not only experiment on Skye like he did her mother, S.H.I.E.L.D. arrives on the scene and all hell breaks loose. It was an action packed confrontation that led to Whitehall's satisfying end and a brutal showdown between Skye's Dad, whose name we find out is Cal, and Agent Coulson. Thankfully Skye saves the day and tells Cal to get going or she'll drop him, something Cal agrees to and before he goes he calls Skye by her given birth name...Daisy. Why is that important? Hang tight. So of course, overcome with emotion over Coulson being hurt, and possibly joy for putting a round in Ward who clearly will survive...damnit, Skye/Daisy attempts to save the day by keeping the Diviner away from its home in the city, sending her below and into the heart of Kreeville. Coulson is quick to follow and Tripp is down there as well, doing his best to disarm the bombs that he and Fitz/Simmons planted. But by the time Skye gets down there, Raina has already come to where the Diviner belongs and seals herself, Skye and Tripp into a chamber before it settles into its resting place before turning Skye and Raina into what appears to be dust, a strange act that Tripp tries to counter by kicking the Diviner, only to be touched by the metal, allowing him to suffer the fate of the countless others the Diviner does not find worthy. But it turns out Raina has been transformed into something more. What exactly we do not know, we only get glimpses and it really doesn't matter, what matters more is the earthquake that comes mere moments after Skye emerges from her dust cocoon to see what has happened to Tripp. That quake is what makes her name so important...clearly Skye is a new version of Daisy Johnson and just happens to be...an Inhuman. Yes, another awesome legacy character from Marvel has shown up on the show and I couldn't be happier. This show just continues to impress week in and week out and I'm curious to see where we go from here now that Skye/Daisy has her newfound powers and now knows exactly who she is...guess we find out in March... Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Last week on this amazing show, by Marvel: the Killer of Feels, we were hit with a lot. Agent May, Skye and Hunter played a bit of rescue as Raina was nearly brought in by HYDRA. Agent 33 had no problem trying to kill Skye in order to get to Raina. Thanks to the Twins, Raina was saved and it seemed the extraction plan had gone off without a hitch. Coulson, Fitz, Simmons, Mack, and Bobby traveled off to find the mysterious city. Most of it was under water and ground, but there were a few access points. It seemed everything was going to go just fine. Coulson had a plan to destroy the city with the contingency that nobody gets hurt. To the new Director there is no such thing as collateral damage. All lives matter, and he won't even accept one accidental death. Bobbi might just have a new found respect for him. Speaking of, she and Mack seem to know something the rest of us don't. Mack hints at her having something more going on and is surprised to see she hasn't brought Hunter on board. If you ask me, this may just be a hint at the Secret Avengers? Or I could be crazy and grasping at straws. Whatever it is, Mack and Bobbi know, and the rest of us don't. And that bothers me. What doesn't bother me, however, is their name dropping our mysterious blue aliens. Guess the Kree have made it to earth, and the city may have been the starting point of a massive take over. Whatever happened, humans seemed to have won out. Or got super lucky. Finding the temple isn't easy, but they do get down there. Mack goes to fix the broken drones while the rest wait. At the bottom of this massive 100ft canyon are some strange symbols. Our new agent makes the mistake of touching them and becomes....enraged? When he's pulled up, after some clear pain, Mack snaps out of it, but isn't himself. He's got no problem literally throwing people as he tries to kill them. The knock-out bullets Fitz has aren't working, and it's getting a bit scary. Mack ends up falling down the hole before he can be shot with real bullets, and the gravity of this situation weighs heavily on Coulson. As if things couldn't get any worse, HYDRA has found the Bus and is forcefully boarding it. Ward confesses to using the tracker inside Raina to find them. He demands Raina be given to them. May makes the hard call of letting her go, but Ward decides last minute that he'll take Skye too. Seems he really wants her to meet her father. Raina lets it purposefully slip that Skye has the coordinates to the City, and it's all gone to hell. It's only after they leave that agent 33 informs Whitehall that Ward let the Bus go. He demands it to be shot down. Tonight, we get to see Skye meeting her dad and hopefully find out that Mack is okay. While he's a new addition, he's too pretty to lose! Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Okay, did anyone else lose their cool during this episode? Maybe I was slightly tired, but I may have actually shed a tear or two. The spell of Shattered Sight has finally been unleashed, and Storybrooke is not holding up well. Already, people are fighting in the streets, and some are lucky to be locked up. Snow White and Prince Charming seem to be in a tit-for-tat spat through bars, while baby Neil is silently sleeping. Kristoff isn’t immune and is taking part in the nit picking, but thankfully nobody is really trying to kill each other, just yet. Ingrid is dead set on having her sisters. The ribbons around Elsa and Emma’s wrist restrict their magic, so much so that they cannot use it against our Snow Queen. With every turn, the two are trying to figure out how to break free. Sadly, the only way to truly break the spell is to kill Ingrid. Elsa and Emma both object, but they have to save the town. Neither are willing to commit this act, though. First things first, they need to find a way to get the ribbons off. Gold’s shop is the perfect place, but Gold isn’t anywhere to be found. That doesn’t stop the girls from trying to physically cut the ribbons by any means. What binds the ribbons, however, is a love unrivaled. Once Elsa repeats this Emma has an idea. Maybe nothing else will break the ribbons…but maybe the exact opposite of unrivaled love can do the trick. Facing Regina isn’t the wisest of choices. It seems the Evil Queen is hit the hardest. Reverting back to her old style of dress, even. She blames Emma for locking her in her own vault, despite the fact that Regina did that to herself. Still, she’s livid. Emma showing up and saying everything the Evil Queen is thinking doesn’t help. The powerful magic Regina releases at Emma is just enough to break the ribbons completely. Finally free, Emma and Elsa go to find Ingrid, while Regina goes to hunt down Emma and make her pay for everything. Along her vengeful trek, Regina happens upon Snow and Charming, locked in the little jail cells. She threatens to take baby Neil first, but Anna keeps getting in the way. In a fury, Regina sends them ‘back to where they came from’, before releasing Snow and conjuring a couple of swords. If they’re going to do this, they’re going to do it the old fashioned way. What about Anna and Kristoff? They end up on the beach. Upon where, Kristoff decides he’s going back to Arendelle, even if he has to swim there, and that he was happier without Anna. Knowing it’s the spell talking, Anna can’t just let him swim off into, well, they don’t know where. So she breaks a nearby bottle over his head. The contents of the bottle happen to be a letter….from Anna and Elsa’s mother. Letter in hand, Anna rushes off to find her sister and hopefully find a way to stop this. Emma and Elsa have finally tracked down the Snow Queen. The showdown isn’t going as planned though. Neither of them can bring themselves to use their magic to hurt Ingrid, let alone kill her. Then again, they are determined to save the whole town. The decision gets made for them when Anna shows up and reads the letter. It contains a stone that holds all of the memories of Ingrid and Helga. The letter is Gerda’s confession. A tearful one filled with regret and sorrow for never accepting Elsa, for locking Ingrid away, and so much more. The final request is to return the memories to Arendelle, so that Gerda and Ingrid can be remembered and honored as they should have been the entire time. The letter is enough to make Ingrid change. Finally, she has the love of the sisters she’s so desperately wanted. With that, she pulls the spell into herself. How? Well, magic? The spell kills her, but the resulting snow fall reverses the effects of the spell. Regina and Snow stop trying to kill each other and laugh, and within minutes the town is filled with joy, hugs, and reunions. All seems well…but then again, there’s no such thing as a happy ending when a villain is around. Gold is still determined to be free of the dagger, and kill Hook….can our Pirate escape his fate? Written by John Edward BetancourtTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...I'm not sure what it is with my favorite shows as of late, but it seems that all of them are out to give me a heart attack and last night's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was no exception. It was a thrilling hour packed to the gills with surprises and tense moments that made you thankful for a commercial break, so let's look a little deeper at "...Ye Who Enter Here". Last night was all about the hunt for the Alien City as our good friends at S.H.I.E.L.D. close in on the location, beneath the coast of Puerto Rico. But before the entire team can land there to begin finding the entrance to the sacred temple, a surprise pops up in the fact that Hydra is on the hunt for Raina. It forces Phil to split the team up, with one half continuing on to the city and the other half securing Raina and bringing her to safety. Hydra has made a point of sending their best after her, since Agent 33, who is still stuck with a disfigured version of May's face after their last encounter, is leading the charge to bring Raina to Whitehall. Thankfully S.H.I.E.L.D. gets to her first and they're off into the sky as Coulson, Mac, Bobbi and Fitz/Simmons find themselves above the entrance to the temple via a deep shaft. The way in seems simple enough, but in order to play it safe, Coulson sends down drones to scout the city beneath them, to no avail. The drones fail and Mac is sent below. As he investigates why the drones went down, Raina and Skye have some quality time aboard the Bus to learn more about Skye's wacko father and more about the Diviner in general. It turns out the aliens that came to earth with it are known as the Kree (Awesome!) and that only the worthy can open the door. This of course means bad news for Mac, as the Kree technology at the bottom of the shaft activates and turns Mac into an insane killing machine who is intent on beating up the team shortly after they rescue him. Eventually Bobbi brings him down and sends him back down the shaft with a thud. Is Mac dead? We don't know, but with the Kree and their technology in play... Either way, as the team deals with Mac, Hydra has used the tracking device implanted in Raina to find the Bus and they board the plane. The Hydra representative, the always "classy" former Agent Ward, offers a deal. Raina and Skye come with him and no one dies. Skye begrudgingly agrees, but Whitehall gets wind of Ward's surprising decision and orders the plane shot down regardless. That's where we end this week. The Bus is in danger of being blown to bits, Mac might be dead and Hydra knows where the city is, and sadly we won't find out what happens until next week on the midseason finale and man, I really cannot wait. This show is simply amazing! Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Last time on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., we got a complete slap to the feels. Is that possible? With this show, anything is possible. The hunt for the City begins, but there is some competition. HYDRA is always on the tails of our Team. Thankfully they have one of the higher ranking members courtesy of a very insane former agent Ward. To get the info needed from the guy, Bobbi is sent to be the top interrogator that she is. The guy isn't giving up any Intel on his boss. Whitehall might have some secrets of his own...thankfully, the Team is in an old HYDRA base that was converted to a S.H.I.E.L.D. one by Peggy Carter herself. thanks to Simmons' hunt for more information, Hunter comes across a very interesting file. It seems Whitehall is not the age he appears to be. The HYDRA head is in fact older than anyone on the Team. By all accounts he should be dead, not looking pretty young and spry for his supposed age. What makes him look this way? Well, we do find out. The Obelisk, the original 0-8-4, is a killing machine. Well, more like it chooses who is worthy of touching it. Those who are, don't burn to a crisp and die. Instead, they might be granted with something akin to immortality. One of these people was found by Whitehall. When she was forced to touch the Obelisk, nothing happened to her. Years later, she was found, and hadn't aged a day. Whitehall saw this as something that needed to be studied. In the end, he took everything he possibly could from her; every organ, and magically, he became young again. The woman in question? She just so happens to be Skye's mother. Skye's dad? Guess he's working with Whitehall as a way to get closer to the old man before killing him. Skye's dad meets with part of the Team in Australia. A plan is set to crash a massive, highly guarded network, in order to hack the back up and get a proper scan of the world to find the city Coulson's looking for. It seems the alien, the Obelisk, and the city are all connected. Skye's dad gives a warning to Coulson...and then disappears. Ward? He went off to meet his dear brother on his parents old property. The well is dug up and Ward finally forces Christian to confess. It seems Grant was telling the truth about Christian forcing him to not help Tommy up from the Well...to make things better, Ward might have slaughtered his parents and brother...all before going to join Whitehall and Skye's father. Seems he's willing to stay with HYDRA. Or is he playing them as well? We may find out tonight...who can we really trust? Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...The spell of Shattered Sight has been cast, and it seems all of StoryBrooke is trying to outrun it. Sadly, there is no outrunning this spell. There may be hope, however. For Gold, there’s always a way out. He makes a deal with the Snow Queen…let him take Belle and Henry and go. She agrees, but there’s no time before the spell hits. Gold may be immune, but his family isn’t. Protecting his wife is the top of his list. Or is it? The Fairies have all gathered in one places, attempting to make a counter spell. There is one, they just need one thing; Anna. The princess, however, is still not anywhere to be seen. Instead, they can use the necklace. The spell will take longer to make, but it will work just as good, supposedly. Elsa isn’t willing to part with the necklace. It’s the only thing she has left of Anna now. With Emma’s help, though, they use a tracking spell on the necklace. It leads them to a beach, but there is no Anna…where could she be? It seems in Arendelle still. She and Kristoff are no longer frozen, neither is their country. Which also means Hans is free. Anna and Kristoff fight their way out of the castle, and make their way to Blackbeard. The legendary Pirate might be able to help them find Elsa. Rumor has it they have a Wishing Star. Anything can be bought for a price, right? Sadly, so can loyalties. Blackbeard has betrayed them, now under Hans’ control. He orders Anna and Kristoff locked into a chest. Just before they’re thrown overboard, the two find out that they’ve been frozen for 30 years. Hans now has control over all of Arendelle, and it would seem our heroine and her fiancé are going to drown. The Wishing Star they were after just happens to be in Anna’s necklace. The very one Elsa is holding and wishing desperately for her sister to be with her. In a stroke of fate the two sisters are reunited…But, before they can make it to the shop where the fairies are working on a counter spell, Gold and Hook get there first. The fairies will give the magical hat enough power to break the bond between Gold and his dagger. With his heart in the hands of the crocodile, Hook has no choice but to obey the command. Every last fairy is sucked up into the hat…Emma and the others arrive just in time to see the empty shop. Blaming the Snow Queen is easy when they’ve no trace to prove otherwise. With no options left and time running out, they head back to the station where Snow and charming are waiting. The two lock themselves in different sells. Snow gives baby Neil to Emma while Anna cuffs Kristoff to the heavy desk. There is no escaping the spell, except for those who wear the ribbons, and Anna. Having been exposed to it once before means she’s not able to fall prey to it a second time. Regina seals Henry away, before trapping herself inside the vault. Everyone locks down as best they can, even Belle is sealed in Gold’s office. The Dark One is immune, after all…but his plans are far from over…with the spell hitting, a family united, there’s much to worry about. Perhaps this won’t be as bad as we’re all assuming. Surely Anna, Elsa, and Emma can find a way to stop the Snow Queen, and save Hook before Gold finishes his evil plans… |
