Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...The Team has faced superheroes in the making, Asgardians, and crazy alien diseases…this week they faced demonic ghost possession? Wait, that can't be right, can it? Of course it is….isn't….maybe….not. At the end of last week's show, Ward and May were seen going into May's room, presumably to get wasted….well, turns out they did more than drink their troubles away (hope Skye doesn't find out!). When an explosion at a Particle Acceleration Complex happens and kills some people, safety inspector Hannah is blamed. More weird occurrences keep happening and the Team believes Hannah is telekinetic, so they venture off to bring her in. One thing leads to another, however, when they arrive. Hannah is outside of her home, with police, and a bunch of angry people wanting to get their revenge, or something. The Team attempts to calm things down, but when a police car drives itself towards the team, well, that's when May steps in. She shoots Hannah with a tranquilizer and off to the Plane they go! Let the observation and interrogation begin! Meanwhile! Fitz and Simmons decide that since Skye never went through the academy, she needs to be pranked, just a bit. They tell her an outrageous story of how May got the nickname "The Calvary". Apparently she fought off 100 soldiers, by herself. Ward later corrects this to 20. In the midst of this, the tests show that Hannah has no tele kinetic abilities. That's good, considering Simmons doesn't even believe those are possible. Hannah confides in Coulson and May that she doesn't have strange powers…she's being punished by a demon for the accident that killed people…. Not possible, right? Maybe a bit possible, because shortly after they leave her in the cell, the plane's power supply is cut and they need to make an emergency crash landing. Nobody's injured in the landing, though! This demonic figure keeps showing up, however. It traps Fitz and Simmon's in a supply closet, before attacking Ward and locking him in with the diatomic duo. Then he goes after Coulson and Skye, locking them in Coulson's office. It's May that somewhat figures it out. She takes Hannah off the plane and into a barn, because they're near a farm, where all good things happen… There's an epic fight scene between May and the demon….as it turns out, it's not a demon. His name is Tobias and he was a maintenance worker with a huge crush on Hannah. He loosened the bolts that caused the explosion that killed those people. Tobias was merely attempting to get Hannah's attentions. In the process, he opened a rift and has since been caught between two dimensions. May talks him into letting go of Hannah…and he finally does; disappearing for the last time. Coulson, in the meantime, reveals May's true story. He had been with her. She didn't fight off twenty men. They'd gone on a 'welcoming party', unarmed…and it went really bad. May ended up saving all the hostages, but at the price of her warmth and caring personality. Coulson doesn't think she's a lost cause, however, and that's why he brought her onto the Team. Agent May, in the end, pulls a prank on Fitz, unbeknownst to the engineer. Proof that her playful personality is still in there. And with that we're Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. free until December 10th! Weird! Hopefully in the next episode we get some more tidbits on the Team...any of their pasts…and of course, what happened to Agent Coulson.
