Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Parties are supposed to be fun; unless you're a Tomorrow People (Person?) with a secret organization trying to kill you. Then parties can be down right bloody. This week, the Tomorrow People left us with a few bomb shells. First, Stephen steals a vial of Ultra's "cure" so a 17 year old genius can derive an antidote. Then Stephen and Astrid (his supposed best friend) make up. This has all the makings of a happy episode. That is, until Jed tells Stephen that Ultra HQ wants to meet him. The same people who ordered the death of his father, want to have a one on one with Stephen. We can all handle that right? Wait, there's more? Oh there's more. Kurt (the kid who was robbing banks a few episodes ago) snuck off to see his mom. John throws a fit because it's reckless and stupid. Not to mention he could get caught. Cara comes to his rescue, saying they could all use a night out to be normal. John disagrees so she challenges him to a fight. If she wins, they get a night out. If he wins, they never mention it again. Sounds like a good deal? Cara, being awesome, wins and they all excitedly plan for a night on the town. Stephen gets dragged off by Jed to meet the head of Ultra. Who turns out to be a Tomorrow People. Whys he ordering the death of his own kind? He'd like to be on the winning side of this war. Still doesn't make much sense, but hey, whatever. Stephen gets subjected to a nice, friendly, telepathic mind raping and sent on his way. Now it's off to homecoming with Astrid! All while Cara tries to get John to come out with them. Now, I don't know about you, but I was hoping it would all end well from here. I was wrong. Stephen doesn't make it to homecoming, because Jed snags him up to watch a mission. Astrid follows. John, on the other hand, shows up at the party and surprises Cara. It has the makings of a good night. Until they all realize they can't use their powers. Until John notices the little device under a table that blocks their powers. Jed and Stephen stand over head, watching as undercover Ultra agents open fire on the crowd below. Stephen won't stand to see his friends slaughtered so he breaks the circuit breaker; giving them a chance to get free. Just before they do, Cara witnesses John shoot an Ultra agent. They make it back to their hideout. Many are shot and injured. The cute, 17 year old genius is shot bad, so Stephen breaks protocol and takes her to the ER. Cara confronts John about what she saw. Surprisingly, she doesn't care that he can kill, she cares that he kept it a secret from her. Stephen shows back up to say the girl should be okay. Only to find Cara telepathically scanning people from the group. They'd been set up by someone on the inside. Someone had informed Ultra of their plans. Stephen thinks it's him, by accident. Just as Cara is about to connect with him, Kurt confesses. In a rage Cara attacks him. Kurt claims that Jed threatened to kill his mom; that he went back to see her again. He claims that Jed said no one would get hurt. Never trust the actor who played Lucifer. Cara doesn't care. She injects him with the stolen "cure", taking his powers away. He's banished. Astrid is waiting in Stephen's room when he finally comes home. She demands answers and Stephen can't seem to keep things hidden anymore. He takes her to the spot they became friends; teleporting. Fade to black! What! Just what! Astrid now knows about Stephen. Cara's mad at John. And what about Jed? Stephen did help the Tomorrow People escape. Guess he can kiss his job at Ultra goodbye? Maybe? Will John and Cara be okay? What about the girl who got shot? And who is the head of Ultra?! Is Stephen's dad really dead? So many questions left unanswered!
