Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Can I just declare my love for not just Kennex but Dorain, right now? I can? Good. Because, wow. This show? Amazing. This week we get down to some real police work. A hostage situation. There's more than a few random casualties (but we're not given names, so it's totally okay….) and of course, the bad guys of the week. These bad guys, however, seem to be part of some religious extremist group. They've taken over the 25th floor of an office building with a nice sized group of hostages. Kennex and Dorian are the only two cops in the building, and even then their Captain demands they get out. Rules were made to be broken, right? Broken they are. With the help of a hostage, (one that's hiding in a supply closet and hasn't been noticed by the bad guys) they're able to help figure out the plan. The baddies ask for a super bomb of death, and a way out of dodge. Rudy, however, is clever and he manages to make a fake replica of the super death bomb of doom. Which, the bad guys don't ever notice the difference. Why? Turns out, they didn't care about the super bad bomb of death. This office building is just a distraction. See, in 2048, when there's a hostage situation, the police use a jamming device that halts all forms of electronic communication that isn't theirs. This just happens to take up a 3 block radius. The bad guys used this to their advantage, however. Knowing the police would use this, a second team struck their actual target. A building that holds palladium. Which is apparently super expensive and stuff! While the heist is going on, the baddies decide to take a few hostages and leave the rest with a bomb of their own. Enter Dorian, the super DNR of awesome. Storming in through an air vent and taking out most of the baddies before getting nearly killed. Kennex saves him at the last minute, they shut down the jamming devices, which enables the alarms to go off, and that shuts down the room the second team of bad guys are in. And, all the baddies? Wearing super cool devices that mask their identity with those of the extremest group. Bad guys impersonating bad guys. That's what the world comes to. But, all's well that ends well! Dorian survives and he and John Kennex seem to work amazingly together. Futuristic cop show? Yeah…I sure hope we get a full season!
