Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...This week the lovely Jamie Alexander guest starred as the Lady Syf, and can I just say, she rocked it. With Skye still recovering it is bed rest for her, and Simmons is the enforcer of that rule. She's also upset with Coulson, who won't let her upload the information of the super life saving serum they used to save Skye, onto the S.H.I.E.L.D. database. Why? So other scientists can analyze what was found. Syf shows up from Asgard to hunt down Lorelei. Which Coulson agree's to help her out. In the meantime, Lorelei has no problems seducing all the men she can to build herself an army. This, of course, gets the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D. so the Team plus Syf go to investigate. Turns out Lorelei has the ability to make any man fall to her whim with just a touch. Most don't even need that. So when she gets her hands on Ward, it's game on. However, Lorelei's powers are stronger than originally thought. Looks like Ward is getting himself a taste of that Asgardian forbidden fruit. The two decide that instead of running, they'll take the fight to the Bus. Hijacking it was easy. Lorelei seduces Fitz easily, who locks Simmons and Skye in the make shift hospital room. While Lady Syf is locked into the interrogation room with the only thing that can stop Lorelei, a special collar that had broken, but Fitz had fixed it before he got all mind controlled. Thankfully, May and Coulson are there to save the rest of the team. Coulson frees Simmons and Skye, then punches out Fitz. May takes on Lorelei until the Asgardian leaves to face Syf, leaving Ward and May to fight. And fight they do. Ward nearly gets her several times, before May finally ends up with a gun in her face. Luckily, she'd pulled the clip out leaving the gun unloaded. Lorelei isn't so lucky, she faces Syf and loses. Coulson finally confides in Skye about what happened, after Syf leaves with Lorelei. Skye accepts it all without blinking. And May listened in on the whole thing. She makes a call to, someone unknown, to tell them that Coulson knows. Most likely, Fury? No idea! But I want to know! Next week we don't get a new episode, but we do get an in-depth look into Marvel and the making of all our favorite things. Plus a look into the future of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. With a second season hopefully on the horizon, what more could our team face? More Cameos!? I'm still waiting for Hawkeye and Black Widow to make it on the show! Speaking of! Side note! Jeremy Renner has signed on for Avengers: Age of Ultron! Which means, my favorite Marvel character gets to be on the big screen for a second time! I'm beyond excited for that news and had to share!

Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...As far as season finales go, this one was pretty good. However, I am insanely worried that we may not get a season 2. Just 13 episodes in and Fox has yet to announce if we get a season 2 or not. So far, their being on the fence is giving me flashbacks to Firefly. That being said, the season one finale rounded up the series in a nice way. With this ending, Almost Human left an open door for a second season or wrapped it up to be a stand alone season/series. (Please Fox! Keep this series going!) This episode brought us back to some good, old fashioned, police work, with twisted conspiracies for good measure, when a body of a young girl shows up with all her organs removed and body stuffed with straw. This mimics a similar set of murders that happened 10 years prior. Kennex doesn't believe this is a copycat killer. Like his dad, he believes they caught the wrong guy the first time. This puts Dorian and Kennex into an investigation that will uncover more than just the murders. Kennex is also determined to clear his father's name. Apparently, Kennex Sr. was under investigation for supposedly stealing robotics from evidence and selling them on the black market. Of which John is calling shenanigans. As if the timing couldn't have been worse, Dorian is up for his evaluation to see if he's still fit for active duty. Turns out, he is! With raving reviews from everyone who works with him. Meanwhile he and Kennex find the real killer. It turns out, the bodies found were not the actual people being murdered but printed copies. The real bodies have been kept, every single one of them, by the 'killer'. The guy doing all this had some degenerative disease and had been slowly replacing his parts with tech. The people? He'd use them to experiment on in order to make sure the surgeries on himself would work. The guy was a walking, self made, cyborg. Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...When last we left off Quinn (the bad guy) had shot Skye, Mike was Deathlok, and Coulson had learned what had happened to him. Coming back, Skye is in critical condition and it is not looking good. Could they be killing off our favorite hacker? Well, the Team is not about to let that happen. May physically takes out her aggression on Quinn and his face, while Coulson decides there's nothing they won't do to save her. So they head to Bethesda, where Phil had been worked on and brought back to life. The place is actually hidden under the mountains. Fury is refusing to see or even talk to Coulson, but did finally release Phil's full medical file to him. Phil finally can read what had been done to him. Though he doesn't fully understand it, he does understand that one of the experimental drugs used on him could be used to help save Skye. In the meantime, S.H.I.E.L.D. is angry that Phil refuses to release Quinn into their custody. Their response is to send Agent John Garrett and Antoine Triplett. Triplett takes a shining to our Simmons. Garrett was Ward's S.O., so the two other agents decide to help Coulson find this experimental drug to save Skye. Garrett gets to beat up Quinn and get some answers. The facility in question is not willing to help Coulson and his team. So he, Fitz, Ward, and Garrett break in. They kill the two guys guarding it, only to find out the base is rigged to explode. That and there are no doctors kept on site. Coulson and Fitz set out to find the experimental drug. Coulson finds the room where his brain was messed with. He then finds the room where the drugs are kept. I thought that the drugs used would be linked back to the Super Soldier Serum. Turns out, it's not. Fitz finds it, and runs off to get it to the Bus to save Skye. Garrett and Ward are unable to stop the bomb from going off, so Ward goes and finds Coulson so they can leave. They all make it back to the Bus in time and Simmons goes to inject the serum into Skye while Coulson attempts to suddenly stop her. The bomb detonates and buries the facility under an entire mountain. The serum works, and Skye pulls through. Though she's still unconscious, she's alive and will make it! May confronts Coulson about why he didn't want them to use the serum on Skye. He tells her that he was afraid Skye would suffer like he did. In reality, we get a flashback to Phil entering a room entitled T.A.H.I.T.I. Where a bunch of tubes lead him to open a strange door and find a blue top half of an alien body, kept in stasis while he's being used to make this magical G.H. serum that saved Phil and now Skye. What is going on here!? What is S.H.I.E.L.D. up to? They seem to have no boundaries when it comes to what they're willing to do. Next week we get to see more of Lorelei, an Asgardian, and apparently the lovely Lady Syf is making a guest appearance! |
