Written by ScottyWanting to be somebody else is dream everybody has. Living the lavish life of a rich person, getting shot into space as an astronaut, being secluded on an island with a crush, whatever floats your boat, but we have all thought about it. But if you are thinking about it, you know that other people have thought about it as well, and although your life may not seem to be what you dreamed it to be, it might be to someone else. Judy and Donald are living their lavish lifestyle in their middle class suburban home without a care in the world. Pretending to be members of the upper class, they do their best not to break character while dining alone. But when the doorbell rings and an anti-gun rights solicitor is at the door, Donald wants the young man to know who he is messing with. Taking his shotgun to the door, Donald points it at the young man every time he mentions something bad about firearms, but to get the man to leave, he puts the barrel to his wife’s head and pulls the trigger. Judy is used to this kind of behavior from her husband, but it is taking its toll on her and she is starting to notice what all of the stress is doing to her face when looking in the mirror. Seeing some wrinkles coming in, she blames Donald’s out of the ordinary tactics. Donald takes this with a grain of salt and heads to the NRA gun club, but Judy gets another strange visitor at the door. An old cosmetics lady who is only supposed to sell her high end products to high end cliental. Judy pulls out her upper class speaking accent again and plays along with the old woman, but takes notice in the necklace the woman has on and cannot take her eyes off of it. The old woman allows Judy to try it on, but she has an alternative motive when she activates the power of the necklace. Switching bodies, Judy is now left in the old woman’s, while her body is at the train station. Donald has to act fast to find a way to get his wife her body back and comes up a lie that her body is tainted. Not wanting to waste her time in the new body, the Witch activates the necklace once again and returns to her old body. Arriving home, Donald takes blind shots with his pistol at the old woman, and one shot finds its place in her chest. Killing the old woman, Donald buries her in the basement, but all is still not good in their household. The necklace is still the center of attention of Judy and she wants to have access to it at all times. Sneaking out of bed, she is able to release the piece of jewelry from the safe and puts it on once again, only to find that despite the Witch’s death, she is still alive. Switching bodies once again, Donald is assaulted by a corpse of a woman that has been placed six feet under, along with his wife’s body. Having to figure out who is who, Donald has to think quickly once again, but when struggling with the Witch, his revolver goes off and the final body switch will be sealed, forever. This story made me laugh more than be scared, but I do think I understand what the message of it was. Be careful in wishing to be someone you are not, as others who are wishing for the same thing may be able to make it happen. That’s what I am going with anyway. With bad rich people accents and a ton of guns, this is the ultimate eighties story that should not be lost on anyone, since that is the way it used to be. Staring Frances Bay as the Witch, Carol Kane as Judy and Brian Kerwin as Donald, this is a story that will go down as a lost love with the promise of nothing in return. Until next time kiddies, Stay Scared.

Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Well my wayward children, if this wasn't a throwback episode to the earlier seasons, I don't know what is. Hitting the road, salt and burns, vengeful spirits and murder. If I didn't know any better, this was season 1. Just kidding, there's been too much heart break for season 1. And we're not looking for dad. All in all Dean has resigned himself to living with the Mark. He's not told Sammy this just yet, but it's apparent. Cas is out looking for Cain himself, and Sam is trying to be overly positive. Sadly, it doesn't work. A case catches Dean's eye and they head off. A weird incident with a car has left one college teen dead. The witness tries to explain what happened and Sam and Dean both believe it was the kids vengeful brothers spirit attached to a truck. A salt and burn should prove that finished, only it doesn't. A girl is strangled in her room by her computer cord. The message 810 appears on the screen before she dies. With no leads, the boys are unsure of what's going on. Dean, however, can't stop staring at the college girls and he even tells Sam he's sorry for ever making him leave. It's not much comfort, but hey! While they're trying to figure out what ghost did this and how and why, a third boy is killed. His stereo blares so loud it boils his brains. Three college kids dead and no idea how the ghost is doing it...finally, a girl comes clean. The four had been driving, all on their phones, when they nearly hit a car. The car swerved and hit a power line. The cable crashed into the car and caught it on fire moments after the crash, killing the professor inside. This happened not too far from his home, 810, making it massively significant. The two boys and blonde girl decided to speed off and not say a word or call for help. Our last surviving redhead has felt beyond guilty this whole time. Sam goes to the ghost's window while Dean protects the girl.....the ghost wasn't hot with just a power line, it was a wifi tower. The ghost jumped from place to place using the wifi as a tether to the living world. Vengeance fueling his actions. The wife confesses to Sam that she knew he'd become a ghost. Having appeared to her on their computer and had several conversations with her. All while the angry spirit attacks Dean and/or the girl. Thanks to Face Timing phones, the wife is able to convince her dead husband to move on....and he does, the girl later visits the wife and finds her own peace. In the end, Dean confesses he's stopped looking for a cure because he can't handle the false hope anymore. He's going to keep saving people and taking cases, for as long as he can, until he goes out swinging. We'll see how long that lasts since Cain appears next week! Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Let us take a moment and revel in how utterly amazing teen Dean is. While I'm never a fan of "de-aged" storylines, Supernatural did it in a way that didn't completely make me regret the fandom. Who am I kidding? I loved every ounce of this episode. Seeing Dean turned back into a prepubescent little scamp was priceless. With no leads as to how to remove the mark of Cain, the boys throw themselves into doing what they do best; not talking about their problems or feelings. Hitting the road on a hunt sounds fun. Mysteriously, people are vanishing in a small town. It's been written off as people running off from their problems, but one eye witness says differently. People are vanishing in bright beams of light. Neither Winchester has an explanation, but the witness believes it to be aliens. Which, in fairness, I would assume aliens too. After all, we have dealt with every other being on this show. It's the smell of flowers after the bright light that leads our boys on a Witch hunt. The hunt is never easy and soon they're stuck in some dead ends. Dean makes a new hot friend however, and together the two of them plow through a lot of drinks. Tina decides to take her leave and is followed by a hulking brute. Dean doesn't like the look of that and he follows too. After a bright light, and a scream from Tina, Dean charges in. Only to be attacked himself. When Dean wakes, he's no longer plagued by the Mark of Cain, instead, he's barely old enough to shave. In a younger body, Dean also finds himself locked away in a room. As is Tina. The missing guy that brought the Winchesters there is also a teenager. He's soon dragged off and this prompts Dean's mad dash for escape. Before he can fully get Tina out, the brute of a man comes for Dean. Tina offers herself as a discretion, giving Squirrel just enough time to escape. Once reunited with Sam, the two form a plan to get Tina free, if she's still alive. And hopefully find a way to reverse the spell. But Dean isn't so sure he wants it reversed given he's finally free from the Mark. It's all hell when the Winchesters storm the 'castle'. The brute turns out to be Hansel, from the famous story. He claims to be working for the witch against his will. It's not long before we figure out how much of a lie that is. He's also a lot stronger than they can handle. The witch tosses Sam around like a rag doll and Hansel takes care of Dean. With their backs to the wall, Dean has no choice but to grab the hex bag Hansel used to turn him young and reverse the spell. Now back in his old body, Dean shoves the Hex bag into the witches mouth and shoves her in the oven she had planned to cook Tina in. And Hansel kinda died in Dean rage too. I guess you shouldn't ever get between Dean and his job to protect Sam. This leaves Tina without a way to return to her rightful age...which is oddly okay for the girl. She decides a fresh start is needed. Maybe our boys could learn something from that... Written by ScottyGetting into showbiz can come easy to some people, as they have been given a special gift from birth that they are able to entertain without effort. Others however have to take time and money to perfect their craft to make themselves desirable for the crowd. Either way, once you are able to make it big, there is no turning back, regardless of what secrets you have been hiding about yourself, but it seems to come without fail, that your past will be exposed at some point, no matter how good or how bad it might have been. Mr. Ingles was the top ventriloquist of his day, setting the bench mark for anyone that could try to follow him. During his last show however, the club burned down and killed his girlfriend at the time, along with any shot at continuing his act. Burning his hand, Mr. Ingles has never looked back on his career with any regret since he was the icon that the industry needed and now he just wants to fade away without being bothered anymore. But fifteen years after his last show, there is someone looking for him and wanting to hone their craft, just like he did so many years ago. Billy Goldman was at the final show of Mr. Ingles fifteen years ago and remembers how funny and talented the man was. Finding the home of the old man, Billy wants him to make good on a promise he made the boy so many years before. Although Mr. Ingles does not want to relive the tragedy he was involved in so long ago, Billy is able to convince him to make an appearance at the young man’s open mic night showing. Watching from the behind the curtain, Billy sees his idol walk into the club and will do anything to impress him, but nothing goes right for him on stage and he is heckled and booed off stage. Waiting in the bar above the stage, Mr. Ingles has to tell Billy the truth that the young man should pursue something else, since he does not have what it takes to be a great like he once was. After destroying Billy’s dreams, Mr. Ingles talks to a hooker that offered her services to him earlier and takes her up on it. Leaving the club, Billy throws his dummy away, but hears a scream coming from nearby. Finding the same hooker he noticed earlier in the night murdered in her car, Billy knows that Mr. Ingles has something to do with it. Confronting the old man at his house, Billy finds the secret that made the old man as great as he once was. Mr. Ingles’ brother, Morty is still a part of him and living on his puppet hand. Wearing just a mask, the dummy was not a puppet, but a real person who ran the act for so many years. Finding out what Morty really is, Billy knows he is in trouble as Mr. Ingles wants to kill him to keep the secret, but not being able to follow through with it, Mr. Ingles ends up freeing his brother from his body. Being given an offer of anything to save his life, Morty offers Billy the opportunity of a life time and the two start headlining the Vegas circuit, but being famous is not the only thing that Billy will have on his hands. Wow, if this is what it takes to get into showbiz, there must be several secrets that our favorite stars are hiding from us, that I want nothing to do with. A great story about how a man that was born with a deformity was able to make the best of it, and then utilize it for a career. But having to share the fame with his brother was not what he wanted and was left being the odd man out. I am talking about Morty, not Mr. Ingles. Morty just wanted to live a normal life, but since he was a part of his brother, for better or worse, he was not able to do what he wanted…to be with the ladies at least. Staring two of my favorite actors, Don Rickles as Mr. Ingles and Bobcat Goldthwait as Billy, this is a great look at how two actors from different ends of the spectrum can come together and make something magic happen. Until next time kiddies, Stay Scared. Written by John Edward BetancourtWhen we last left Rick Grimes and his group, they were as devastated as the rest of us. Beth was murdered in brutal fashion and we all knew the show would never be the same. But even before that earth shattering moment, the show had already made sure to surprise us at every turn, working with time jumps that left us guessing. So before we reach the Midseason premiere of The Walking Dead, here is a look back at the first half of Season 5. Episode One: "No Sanctuary" Immediately following the Season 4 Finale, we pick up with the group still trapped at Terminus, and trouble is already brewing for Rick as Gareth's lackeys pull Rick, Daryl, Glenn and Bob from their train car to slaughter them for food. But it turns out that Carol is near and saves the day, laying waste to Terminus, and helping everyone escape before being reunited and welcomed back into the group by Rick. Episode Two: "Strangers" Back on the road once again the group finds sanctuary in a church after helping out a jittery priest named Father Gabriel. As they catch their breath, Gabriel lets them know of a food supply that Rick and a group bring back to the church. It seems that all is well, but that's far from the case. Carol and Daryl are separated from the group when Daryl discovers Carol trying to leave and then spots a car similar to the one that nabbed Beth, taking Carol with him to pursue it and it turns out Bob was bitten in the food raid before being kidnapped by Gareth and the Terminus survivors. They plan to hunt Rick and his group, and they have already started their hunt by capturing Bob and cutting off and eating his leg. Episode Three: "Four Walls and a Roof" The showdown begins between Gareth and Rick when the Terminus survivors return Bob to the church. As Rick takes a squad to dispose of them at night, Gareth arrives at the church to exact his revenge. But his plans go awry when Rick returns and kills Gareth in brutal fashion. Following the end of Gareth the group is split when Abraham takes some of the group to head to Washington D.C., while the rest stay behind to wait for Daryl. He returns shortly after Abraham leaves, with a mystery person in tow... Episode Four: "Slabtown" Beth awakens to discover that the car she encountered at the mortuary has brought her to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, where she finds a group of survivors, mostly made up of Police Officers and people that owe those officers a debt for being saved. She figures out quickly that this sanctuary is anything but, it is ruled by a tyrant known as Dawn and it seems that no one has ever repaid their debt, meaning she may be trapped here for some time. Especially after her attempted escape with Noah, a man she has befriended there, ends in failure for Beth but success for Noah, and to make matters worse, Beth sees an unconscious Carol being wheeled into the hospital as well. Episode Five: "Self Help" Following an accident on the road to Washington D.C., Abraham's group is doing their best to secure some kind of transportation to head to the nation's capital. But there seems to be complications all along the way, including the demon's from Abraham's past and the fact that in a moment of panic, Eugene reveals he isn't a scientist and knows nothing of a cure, prompting Abraham to beat him senseless. Episode Six: "Consumed" Carol and Daryl arrive in Atlanta at last, and begin to scout for Beth's location. Along the way we learn much about these two, especially their pasts and the hardships they have suffered before being robbed of their weapons by Noah. They eventually figure out that Beth has been taken to Grady Memorial, and they also cross paths with Noah again, saving his life but alerting Dawn's police force. Their attempt to hide leads to Carol being hit by a car, sending her to Grady Memorial with Beth and sending Daryl and Noah back to Rick and the group to arrange a rescue party for Beth. Episode Seven: "Crossed" Rick and a vast majority of the group head to Atlanta to figure out how to bring Beth home. As they formulate a plan, Abraham works to come to terms with everything that has happened, and Beth works to save Carol's life since a show of strength from Beth has nearly doomed her friend, and Father Gabriel escapes the church to get a better look at the world as it is now on his own. Upon arriving in Atlanta, Rick and the gang encounter some of Dawn's crooked cops and capture them, planning to use them as bartering chips. But one of them has ideas of his own, and knocks Sasha out in order to escape. Episode Eight: "Coda" The escaping officer has been dealt with, and Rick and the group have a plan to rescue Beth from Grady Memorial. As they prepare to put their plan into action, Abraham and the D.C. gang return to the church just in time to save Michonne, Carl, Judith and Gabriel from walkers that the good father brought back to the church in his travels, prompting all of them to help Rick in Atlanta. But the mission in Atlanta ends up going more smoothly than expected as the come within seconds of Beth being returned to them. But things go horribly wrong, and Beth is murdered in cold blood by Dawn, prompting Daryl to put Dawn down as well. The episode ends in brutal fashion as Abraham and everyone else arrive at Grady Memorial, just in time for Maggie to see Daryl bringing out the body of her baby sister. Written by ScottyReality is a funny thing. There are so many different variations of it, it is difficult to know what is really real. There are many instances where people that have been put in extreme circumstances, they make up their own reality, no matter how farfetched it may seem to others. But creating one’s own reality may be dangerous for everyone that is involved since it is not what everyone else sees or knows, leading to bigger problems that cannot be fixed by just telling someone that they are wrong. Mary Jo is in an abusive household where she is in charge of doing all of the work. She is only allowed to do what she is told and for the homeowners, they wouldn't have it no other way. Luisa is an older, very demanding woman that treats the young girl as her slave and makes her do even the most tedious of tasks. But Luisa’s husband, George has other things in mind for their young girl, as he has seen how beautiful Mary Jo is and wants to make her a real woman. Doing the bidding of both of the farm owners, Mary Jo will not give herself up to George, even though he kept her from being picked up by the police for robbing a Stop n’ Shop. As George’s advances are fought off by the young woman, it is not enough to keep her safe as she gets hit in the head with a bottle. Louisa hears the struggle in the barn and comes to find out what is happening, but her husband will not fess up to what is going on between the two. When he starts to apologize for hitting Mary Jo, the two see that she has escaped and follow her blood trail into their corn field. Barely able to stay awake, Mary Jo find solace at the feet of the scarecrow that keeps the birds away and knowing that he will always be there for her, she has finally found herself a man. With this change, Mary Jo’s outlook on life brightens and she is ready to do anything to make her new man happy, so he will make love with her. Watching Mary Jo go crazy, Luisa knows that she will never be able to go anywhere to get help, but she is also noticing that her husband has a wandering eye fixated on the girl and tells him what will happen if he ever cheats on her. Although George says he understands, he will not give up his pursuit of Mary Jo and sees his opening. Dressing up as the scarecrow, George now has his chance to make love to the young woman as he has wanted to for so long and she will believe that it is her man, and love it herself. But Luisa has the feeling that something bad is going to happen and waking up to find her husband missing, she heads into the field to find him, but finds Mary Jo trying make love with her man. Luisa needs to find a way to show the young crazy girl that the scarecrow is not real and has a pitchfork ready to plunge into his straw filled chest. Talk about a love affair gone drastically wrong, this story leaves you wondering if Mary Jo was really crazy or just playing the part so she could escape her captors. I think I was supposed to feel sorry for George as he was only looking for love once again, but I gravitated towards Luisa as she is the only person keeping her mind and the farm together with the new help. Staring Patricia Arquette as Mary Jo, Chelcie Ross as George and Susan Blommaert as Luisa, this is one of my favorite stories to date. Everyone brought something special to their performances, as Ross is torn between the two women in his life, Arquette is looking for a way to escape and has to go crazy to do so and Blommaert has to be the only sane one that only wants to keep the farm running with her free labor. Many people listen to this little voice in their heads when faced with making difficult decisions, while others may decide on ignoring it since they know what they are doing is right for them. Your conscience is supposed to point you in the direction of doing the right then when you are trying to do something wrong. You have to decide whether or not to listen to it when it comes calling, and hopefully, it will guide you in the right direction. Club manager Marty Slash is hearing a strange muffled sound inside of his ears and decides to go to the doctor to see what is causing it. Although his doctor does not see anything wrong when looking he knows that working in a club and dealing with all of the loud music can destroy people's hearing, so he gives Marty a couple of treatment options, but his best advice is to have his patient leave the business. Marty is not happy with the answers he receives, but will take his doctor’s advice in leaving the business, since he has his retirement plan already in motion. Running a ‘Save the Amazon’ concert series, Marty has raised a million dollars to send down for the great benefit. Sharing the oversized check with the crowd and a special guest, Chief Kabubi, Marty comes off looking like a savior. But he has real plans for the money and that is to retire and get away from the rock n’ roll business forever. Packing up the million dollars, his conscience tries to talk him out of what he is about to do. Marty will not listen to the little voice in his head and that proves to be his biggest mistake. Knowing that something bad will happen to Marty, his conscience keeps trying to warn him about what will happen if he goes through with it, but a knock on the door will change Marty’s outlook on it altogether. A tall, attractive female groupie is waiting to talk with Marty and express her love for the man’s efforts in saving the Amazon. But she has a secret of her own as well, being his banker, she knows what Marty is planning and wants half of the stolen money or she will go to the cops. Marty is not willing to give up on his shot of happiness and kills his banker, but when it rains, it pours on him as his next visitor is a police officer. Screaming at him to confess about what he has done and what he is going to do, Marty’s conscience will not back down and Marty has to find a way to silence it. Using the ear wash and ointment given to him by the doctor, Marty cannot escape the voice. Wanting to continue with his foolproof plan, Marty starts to head towards the door, but his conscience is getting louder and everyone is starting to it yell as Marty is trying to pass by. Or is it just Marty’s imagination as he slowly begins to slip into madness. A crazy story about a man having to convince himself that what he is doing is right. In making the biggest decision in his life, Marty’s conscience comes to life after thirty plus years and will not let him go through with it, not without a fight anyway. With every step that Marty takes towards his new life, his conscience makes him take two steps back with reasons why it is not a good idea, but that is not the only obstacle that Marty has to deal with as at least one other person knows about his plan of embezzling the Amazon money. Staring Lee Arenberg as Marty Slash, Katey Sagal as Ms. Kilbasser (Banker), and Sam Kinison as Marty’s Conscience, this story was just fantastic from the get go. The inner battle that Marty has to deal with is just epic and putting a voice to what is actually being said inside his mind, there is none better than Kinison to make you feel Marty’s pain and hatred towards his self, or at least his conscience. Not knowing when or where it can make its appearance, most people go along with their everyday lives and hope it falls in their lap. But there are the other people that turn to the social outlets, hitting up bars, clubs or even the internet to find the person of their dreams. There are the special times when the love of your life falls into your lap, as you are just going on with your normal life, but will you be aware enough to pounce at the opportunity? James Reed is a hot shot insurance salesman that is looking to sign the next big account for his company. Meeting with the extremely wealthy Sebastian Fielding, James is finding out that the deal is not what he is looking for, but meeting Mrs. Fielding, he knows that all is not lost. Having to pay money out of his own pocket to make a deal with Sebastian, James hopes that he will get something more out of the deal. When Mrs. Fielding comes calling, he knows that he has made the right decision. Although Gloria is not a gold digger, she is looking to get out of her relationship with her husband and James is formulating a plan to make that happen. Getting the paperwork ready to sign, Sebastian stands on the balcony of his penthouse and watches the lights come on. James sees his opportunity and pushes the rich man over the rail and to his death. Gloria and James are now free to move on to the next stage of their relationship, but somebody else knows what happened and will not stand idly by while the two ride into the sunset together. Jerry Jasper, James’ boss comes calling while the two are making their plans for their upcoming life together. Jerry comes clean about being obsessed with Gloria, and admits to seeing and taking pictures of the murder taking place. Promising to not go to the police, unless the couple goes along with the deal he presents them with. Wanting to share the affections of Gloria, Jerry will not stop until he gets everything that he wants. As the months go by, Gloria is sent back to James ragged and beat up, but there is nothing he can do to stop this and makes him hurt so deeply while watching the love of his life be abused as such. But does Gloria feel the same way James does about the deal, or is she just looking to drive him insane? The classic tale of man finds woman, falls in love, but the woman is not available. But it has just a bit more than that as she has a secret of her own about her relationship with her husband, along with someone else that is not in the picture. I must admit, I did not see the ending coming, but as all of these tales come to life, it is not too surprising to see what happens. Staring Kim Delaney as Gloria, Kevin Kilner as James and Michael Ironside as Jerry, it is a great cast to bring this story to life, especially with all of the hate and remorse that is shown to make it believable. But if it is the right opportunity, there is no reason to pass it up. The thing that you have to remember is that if you are found out, it could cost you your job, but if it is true love, there should be nothing to stop you. Keeping a secret between your coworkers could be hard enough when trying to make it to the next level of your life, but keeping it from someone outside of the office could be much more costly. Stacey is and up and coming model that even though she is not looking for love, has found it in the eyes of her new photographer, Devlin. As he is making jokes about where the group could be shooting, Stacey comes back with a cute remark that leaves him wondering if she could be the one for him. But before he is able to pursue this question, Stacey’s manager and fiancé Mitch comes into the studio and interrupts the photo shoot. Bringing his normal swagger, Mitch makes both Stacey and Devlin feel uncomfortable about what is happening, but that is not enough to keep Devlin from asking the question. Offering a safe place to stay if things get out of hand at home, Devlin gives Stacey a key to the studio and tells her that it is hers if things get out of control. Knowing that there is something wrong with Mitch, Devlin is sure that Stacey will be back that night and he is happy to see that he is right. Stacey returns to him with a new bruise on her chest from her ex and wants to feel safe from here on out, and Devlin gives her something to guarantee it, a necklace that his grandmother gave to him that is a promise that he will be there whenever she is in trouble. Although it is unorthodox, Stacey accepts it, but when Mitch finds out what is happening, he has a plan of his own to win her back. Inviting Devlin up to his cabin, Mitch murders the young photographer and plays off of his loss like he has run from the girl of his dreams. Stacey is not able to get ahold of Devlin for a week and although she does not believe what Mitch is telling her, they have too much history to just let his story fall upon to non-listening ears. Not believing that Devlin could run off with another up and coming model, Stacey goes to investigate herself, but Mitch is there to make sure she does not find anything. Kidnapping her up to the cabin, Mitch is ready to have the time of his life, but before he can get started, he hears a rustling outside of the window. Thinking back to what she was told about the necklace, Stacey knows that she is being protected by the man that she truly loved. A story of lost, longing and jealousy, all tied into one. If you have been paying attention through the series, you know what you are going to get once the foreshadowing is laid out and this one does not disappoint at all. A jealous boyfriend that is looking for more using the wrong tactics, along with a new love that should never have happened, it is the perfect twist to a love triangle. With Miguel Ferrer as Mitch, Teri Hatcher as Stacey and Kyle Secor as Devlin, it is hard to imagine that there could be any downfall in this episode at all. It is also the first episode where the Crypt Keeper starts using the term ‘Kiddies’, so from here on out, Until next time Kiddies, Stay Scared. Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...He's just a boy, she's just a girl, and before I sing/write anymore lyrics to the song you all secretly started thinking about let's carry on. Two song references and I'm only on paragraph one....lets just shake that off. All right, enough of this Shae-nanagans. Guys, I have a confession. I actually didn't see the promo for this week's episode at all. Yesterday was a complete surprise for me. I will say, I seriously am in love with this show. Like, this fandom was probably the worst thing I ever could have gotten into. My feels, hurt. While this episode wasn't as heavy as most, it did drop a few hammers on our sensitive feelings. People have been vanishing from this little town; bursts of light appear and the person is gone. The only thing left behind are their clothes. Dean has literally spent a week in the Bunker, researching how to remove the Mark. And by researching, I mean re reading the books of lore they already have. When the case comes in, Sam nearly has to beg Dean to take it with him. When they do arrive their only witness says that they smelled flowers after seeing the bright light. Aliens are a good option, they're just never the answer. And the smell of flowers means that it's not demon related. With little to go on the two spilt up. Sam visits the house of our latest disappeared guy, and Dean chats up the Bartender of the place our vic was last seen. Striking out on the info has Dean frustrated. He ends up making friends with a local, Tina, and she's got a lot of baggage and a bit of info. She leaves and is followed by a big burley guy. Dean follows and hears her scream before he's attacked too. Bright light of doom fades and Dean awakens in a cell. Something isn't right though. Tina seems alright, minus the fact that she's barely even a teenager now. Also with her in her own cell happens to be our missing vic, JP. He's soon taken away by the burley guy that attacked Dean and Tina...when Dean discovers his own de-aged body, he's a little weirded out, but he's a Winchester. These things happen. Clever as he is, Dean escapes with the promise of coming back. Sam's reaction to a very young Dean is comical. I literally paused and giggled for a solid five minutes at the utter disbelief Moose had. Dean is still in charge and within minutes of his return, they're off on the road again. Though, on the way Dean isn't sure he wants to reverse this spell. He doesn't have the Mark of Cain in this younger body, and it's nice to be free from that feeling. Sam isn't sure how to take this news. Puberty ridden Dean is a big adjustment for the normally younger Sam...but he can't blame Dean for wanting to be free from the mark. Breaking back into the cell, which is apparently in the basement of some house, isn't hard to do. Dean slips right back in through the window he crawled out of while Sam finds another way in. Tina is already gone....Dean investigates her cell and is shortly attacked by our burley foe, Sam to the rescue! The man claims to be Hansel and says he's forced to work for the witch. Confronting said witch proves the complete opposite. Hansel is a dirty liar. Tina is alive, however, she's just tied to a chair, forced to watch the ensuing fight. Said witch is turning adults into children and eating them because nobody misses adults like they do children. Plus, really, she's got a point with the specific people she's been turning young and eating. She's here on business, searching for Rowena, upon request of the Grand Coven. Any more information is lost as Sam tries to over take Hansel. The hex bag around the brutes neck is cut free, and it holds the ability to reverse the spell. Sam and Dean are both easy over powered. The witch decides Sam will be turned young too. And he's next on the menu. Never doubt the power of love Dean has for his little brother. Like the hero he is. Dean touches the hex bag and is back to himself in no time. He kills Hansel before shoving the hex bag into the witches mouth and throwing her into the oven she was hoping to roast Sam (earlier Tina) in. Needless to say, she doesn't survive. But, the hex bag is destroyed and with it Tina's ability to return to her age. The young girl doesn't mind, though. Happy to have a fresh start, she goes off to start her life over again. Happy ending for all? Mostly; Dean still has the Mark of Cain upon his arm and they're no where near finding a solution. They do have Charlie out there, on their side, and Dean did save Sammy and Tina, so it wasn't a terrible day....this time. |
