Written by Scott EdwardsGetting older is never easy, especially when someone is trying to take your job. No matter how many years you may have put into doing what you have done well, there is no stopping the drive of someone younger that wants it more and is willing to do anything to get it. You can always rely on your name and your past accomplishments, but that can only hold off the youth for so long as they can be out doing things that you have not been able to accomplish for several years. It is a sad to think about this, but when your time comes, will you be the one that will try to teach them what you have learned over your many years, or will you try to hold them back at any cost to retain your name and your job? Dalton Scott, a prized photographer feels like he is being shown up by his younger protégé. Although young Ike idealizes Dalton, he is trying to make a name for himself as well. But Ike will never do anything to tarnish Dalton’s name or legacy, he just wants to learn from the best since Dalton has been the eye behind the camera for more of the inspirational shots that make the papers than anyone else. Trying to befriend his boss, Ike invites Dalton to come to the house and meet his wife and have a home cooked meal for once while in the States. But Dalton does not like the idea, since he is single and could have any woman that he wants when they find out who he is, he wants to be on his own. Visiting his editor, Dalton is run through the ringer since his work is slipping much faster than he could have ever known. Deciding to head to Central America to see a diseased location and take shots, Dalton is directed to take Ike with him just to get a second set of shots on the situation. Dalton decides to break the news to his apprentice, but when arriving at the young man’s house, he is blown away by the beauty that opens the door. Meeting Bobbi for the first time, Dalton does not understand the attraction to Ike, who seems to be funny looking to say the least. Bobbi tells Dalton that she has always had eyes for greatness and sees this in her man. While Ike and Bobbi are making love, Dalton watches and sees that it is not an act. The two will never be broken up and even in death, they will follow each other to no ends. Running with a band of mercenaries, Dalton has set what the two photographers will be doing while in the bush. With a small province being knocked out by a disease, Dalton plays some reverse psychology on Ike to get the young gun to check it out in the hopes of getting him infected. When Ike returns however, he looks better than ever and is looking forward to sending a letter and some potpourri to Bobbi. During the middle of the night, Ike wakes up in pain and Dalton knows exactly what has happened to him. As his protégé dies in front of his eyes, Dalton will be back on top in the photography biz and will become a great lover to the newly widowed Bobbi. But Ike’s package did make it out of the jungle and what it contained will change Dalton Scott’s outlook on life for the rest of his days. Just a jealous man nearing the end of his days, not willing to give up just yet. As Dalton is still the main photographer, he knows that Ike is on his tail and needs to find some way to make some separation. He was able to do just that by killing the young man, but there is no escaping the love that Bobbi had for her husband. Starring Rodger Daltrey as Dalton, Steve Buscemi as Ike and Lysette Anthony as Bobbi, this is the perfect cast to show the Sexy, the Beautiful and the Funny Looking. I will admit if I see anyone eyeing my woman like Dalton was in this episode, there will be words and I certainly will not follow them anywhere. Until next time kiddies, Stay Scared.
