Written by Scott Edwards THIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM. YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.If you ask anybody that likes to write, what their worst fear is, it will always be said that Writer’s Block is the worst thing that can ever happen to them. While there is no guaranteed way to get over it, there are many practices that writers like to use to break free of it. It could be as simple as talking to someone, posting crazy stuff on social media to see the replies, running through their local park or visiting a special location that is near and dear to them, but these do not work for everyone. Trying to get that one idea that will resonate with others can come easily to some people, while others struggle. With no sure-fire way to get out of the dreaded writer’s block, it is important to find your own way and just keep writing, even in a journal, because you never know what kind of stories can come to life from just a random thought. Looking for inspiration to write his next story, a writer is ready to spend the night in the Boothe house that is reported to be haunted. Wanting to chronicle the house’s checkered past, the writer pulls out his tape recorder and narrates the supposed story of Jacob Boothe and his wife Cynthia, both who lost their lives in the house. As the story goes, Jacob came home one evening and stabbed his wife to death and then retreated to his office desk and shot himself in the head for reasons unknown. As thirty years have passed and the mystery still stands strong in the community, the writer sits at Jacob’s old desk, determined to get a truly terrifying story down on Halloween Night. Opening up his laptop and pulling out some old articles, the writer is not seeing anything that is giving him any ideas, so he goes to his list of Horror Movie Monsters to try and find some inspiration. Choosing a masked killer as his first attempt, the writer feels like it is more of a comedy than a horror story and deletes his work. Changing the opening scene again, this time going with a killer clown, he is still not getting the sense of terror that he is looking for. Giving it one more go with a scarecrow, the writer is just not getting the right tone and with some self-reflection of where he was sitting, he finally gets the most frightening idea in his head, one that should send shivers down the spines of his readers. With the new story being placed in the Boothe house, the writer is ready to get a terrifying story down on the page, but hearing something in the hallway, he is forced to step away. Moving slowly to see who or what is making a racket, the writer spots Mrs. Boothe crying on the stairs and tries to get her to calm down, but little does he know what story he has become a part of himself. This is a very cool episode and being able to identify with the writer is something I really enjoyed, at least up to a point. Going to a place to get inspiration to write is a common practice of mine and while I cannot always get away, I try to enough to keep some ideas flowing. I liked the three different stories that were going to be told and then deleted, as there was plenty of momentum to keep them going, but as all writers do, they say they can do better and start from scratch. With a candle, a haunted house, a backstory, a tape recorder, some typing, plenty of ideas, a record player, scaring one out of one’s seat, plenty of running and becoming what one fears most, this episode really made sure to point out that ideas are great, however acting on them may not be the best laid plan. Stay Scared.

Written by Scott Edwards Growing up, we always knew that there was a monster under the bed or hiding in the closet. Although our parents would try to talk us down from believing this, we still knew that they were there. When we got older and stronger, we would start to check these places out on our own and when we did not see them there, we believed that we were safe. But it could have just been that these creatures that haunted our childhood have moved on when we got bigger than them, or they could just have gone into hiding and are waiting for us to let our guard down. Julia Lund is going to grad school to become a psychologist so she will be able to help people and has her final to worry about, but there is something else that is important to her, he boyfriend. When getting a call from Paul, the two head out for a great date night, but when things start to get interesting, Julia’s phone rings. Her old friend Billy is in a bad place and needs to talk things out with her before it gets worse. Julia cannot ignore her old friend’s cry for help and meets with Billy at the diner where he is holding up. Listening to Billy, Julia believes that he is going crazy. Talking about the creatures that go bump in the night as being real and that these same creatures are the reason both of them suffered from night terrors, Julia wants to get him some help, but before she is able to leave the table, Billy shoots himself. Feeling sorry for her friend, Julia attends his wake and meets two more people that were friends of Billy’s. Sam and Terry have listened to his stories and believe that there is something to them and want Julia to join their team in proving that there is something coming after them. Julia is too caught up in what would happen if word got out that she was looking into her childhood fears, but her night terrors have come back to haunt her. Knowing that there is something wrong with her, Julia asks for advice from the doctor that helped her through this phase when she was a child. Knowing that it sounds ridiculous, her doctor is the only one that will listen and help her follow through in solving her problems. While being haunted by something that has been gone for many years, Julia is losing sleep and becomes very short with everyone around her. Lashing out at her boyfriend for not believing her, there is nobody that will believe what she is seeing is real. Trying to find out more about what is happening to her, Julia reaches out to Sam and Terry for more advice, but when they are both found to be missing, Julia believes that what happened to her in her youth was real and has come back to get her. This is a fun story if you did not experience night terrors when growing up. I am one that could never sleep, so I did not suffer from this, but now have an idea of what might happen. When Julia starts to experience this torment from her past, you have to feel for her, but when she lashes out at her loved ones over it, you can tell that there will not be anyone left to help her. Even though Paul loves her, he is driven away from helping her when she has to be the number one in all aspects of their relationship. I like what is hidden in the darkness, but I do not fully understand how they are able to come and claim their prizes. But that is the fun of the movie and when you are marked, there is no escape. While I am no expert in these types of things, I tend to fall asleep with some sort of background noise from the television and for the most part it does not affect my dreams, as last night I was listening to a show where bugs burrow into people’s brains and make their heads explode, I dreamt about owning a dog, so not really the same. But there are different things that happen in people’s subconscious and sometimes they are more open to suggestion than mine currently is. So, I will tell you this, if you have a sure-fire way to go to sleep, use it no matter what the experts say, since sleep is one of the most important things the body needs to revitalize you for your next day’s conquest. Falling asleep while listening to a radio show that is talking about the macabre, Kyle is shaken from his dream state. Waking up to the darkness surrounding him, he has no idea what is going on and tries to figure out why he was awoken. Seeing nothing in the darkness, Kyle hears a growl coming from the corner of the room and arms himself with a baseball bat to investigate. Still not seeing anything in the still of the night, the growl comes again, and he spots a faint outline of something standing before him and swings with all of his might, knocking the figure down. Turning on his light and seeing that he has successfully taking out his coat rack, Kyle needs to find a way to get his wits back. Going into the bathroom and splashing some cold water on his face, Kyle is forced to come to terms that he must have imagined the entire thing. Heading back to bed without a fear in the world, Kyle lies his head back and tries to go to sleep. Unbeknownst to him, there is something in his room with him and it has a far more nefarious plan for the night. While this episode feels really fast, it does everything right when it comes to a good foreshadowing. Plus, you get a little treat with the radio show talking about the previous episode that had to deal with a stuffed animal possession, and here you learn that mother and daughter got out alive, along with a little piece on UFO stories from an ex Air Force General. But back to Kyle. Because it was good to see that Kyle was conscious enough to think that there was trouble lurking around his room, especially since it is difficult to get your bearings when you are violently woken up in the middle of the night and if I was in his shoes, I would have just gone back to sleep. With a story of a possessed stuffed animal, a shaking room, some lights from out of this world, a baseball bat, a coat rack, some questioning of one’s sanity and an entity that may or not be of this world, this episode really hammers home that there are more than a few things that go bump in the night. Stay Scared. Written by John Edward Betancourt THIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM. YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.Whether we like it or not, at some point or another we will be forced to face the toughest moment in our lives all over again. Because the universe is a cyclical place, one where the past returns to not necessarily punish a person, but to give us a second chance to handle unfinished business, or to allow for us to finally find some closure in regard to something that haunts us. But one way or another, the past will indeed swing back around to say hello and how we handle round two is quite the big deal. Because if we ignore the opportunity, it will continue to hang over us, but if we rise to the occasion, there is a chance that great peace will wash over us. And it just so happens that the return of the past and how it impacts us was explored in the next episode of Locke & Key. Because ‘Dissection’ saw Sam Lesser and the Locke family interacting once again with terrifying results. But before we get too deep into how this unwholesome reunion went for the various members of the family, it’s important we discuss exactly what kind of man Sam was before he arrived at this particular point in his life. For we came to learn in this tale exactly what corrupted Sam to want to hurt Rendell in the first place and it turns out that Sam was a troubled young man. One full of psychological scars thanks to years of abuse from his father, and that trauma in turn helped him to become an outcast, one who struggled who make connections. Which is why Rendell asked Tyler to hang with him and why Rendell went the extra mile to try and help Sam out and despite everyone’s best efforts to help Sam fit in, Dodge’s ability to reach out from great distances is what brought about disaster. For she used his fears and pain and insecurities to make him believe that the Locke family was against him and well, we all know how that story ends. If anything, there was a rhyme and a reason to showing us Sam’s backstory, one that would come to fruition at the end of this harrowing tale. But before we can discuss that, we have to talk about how awful it was for the family to be face to face with the man that murdered their father. Because having him in their house again, demanding the keys, put everyone right back in the moment that they thought they escaped by leaving Seattle, and this is where the notion of how we handle the past came into play. Because this was it, the family had the chance to do something different this time and Kinsey and Bode definitely seized upon the opportunity. For they antagonized Sam at every turn and refused to let him inject fear back into their hearts, and when the opportunity arose to potentially put a stop his maddening quest for the keys; they took it. And it was quite satisfying to see Kinsey use the buried corpse of her fear to teach Sam a lesson about pushing people too far. But Kinsey and Bode weren’t the only ones to face their worst fear in a healthy manner, Tyler received an opportunity as well. For shortly after he discovered the Anywhere Key in Dodge’s truck, he came to realize his new beau was the enemy and used the key to get back home and finally received the opportunity to teach Sam a lesson with his fists. But guns always win in a fist fight, and despite being stopped in hiss tracks by the barrel of a gun, Tyler wasn’t done with Sam just yet. For shortly after Sam returned from his little voyage out into the woods with Kinsey and Bode, he and Tyler squared off one last time thanks to an assist from the Head Key and that allowed for Tyler to make peace with his past and that’s when Sam’s journey came around full circle in this tale. For Dodge arrived at Key House and knocked Tyler and his mother around before taking the keys and informing Sam that he was indeed a pawn all along, simply because she knew how weak he was. And his desperation to feel more and be more was something she was happy to take full advantage of, and as this news broke his heart, she was quick to badly wound him. Which in turn prompted a confused and dying Sam to walk through the still unlocked Ghost Door to escape the police as they closed in, forcing him to depart his body permanently since the door was closed behind him, and forcing a broken man to spend the rest of eternity walking the Earth with regret surrounding him is one hell of a punishment. Yet while that’s a satisfying way to bring this part of the family’s past to a close, not everyone handled it all that well. For this night brought back a lot of pain for Nina, the kind that prompted her to forget about years of hard work and sobriety since she gave into the urge and had a deep and regrettable drink. Which means it won’t be long before the consequences of a binge come to fruition and it should be interesting to see how the kids handle their mother’s moment of weakness before this battle with an unknown evil begins. For now, there are only three episodes left in season one and it won’t be long now, before Dodge and the Locke family face off in proper fashion. Until next time. Written by Scott Edwards Being able to help someone in their time of need might be a lost art, but there are still many people that will go out of their way to do so. As some people believe there is no reward in it, they need to look a little bit deeper into their hearts and understand the feelings that can come from it. Not everyone is as well off as us and they could use an extra boost of help and just the knowledge that somebody actually cares for them could make their year. There are some instances of helping people in need that have been known to pay off greatly in the long run and even though this is few and far between, you never know what secrets some people could be hanging on to. Alex, her sister Rachel and best friend Julia are out to find the adventure of a life time. Taking a summer job in Thailand, they are ready to let their guard down and have a good time. Arriving at their new home, they see a spirt house in their front lawn. Not knowing the importance of this, young Alex takes the amulet she sees hanging inside and claims it as her own. Getting into the house the girls are amazed how nice their living quarters will be and head upstairs. Taking the dust covers off of all of the furniture, there is one thing in the room that is covered by a bloody towel that they unsheathe as well. A young girl who appears to be made of gold is looking back at them and even though the girls do not understand what it is, it must be a fixture in the house and they will need to keep an eye on her. Waking up in the morning and finding out that there is no food in the house, the girls head off to the market, but they are not alone. Two strangers are spotted following them, but the girls are not afraid. Knowing that they will be working nonstop in a short time, they decide to hit the town for the night, and they are surprised to see the same men waiting for them at the bar. Rachel really wants to have a good time and decides to talk to the men and the girls decide to bring them home to carry on with the party. Experiencing very vivid dreams of killing their house guests, the girls wake up in a haze to find that all of their valuables have been stolen, along with the little girl statue from upstairs. Needing to find a way to replace the statue, the girls head back into town to see who might be selling something similar to it. After not being able to find exactly what they are looking for, they follow a little girl to an out of the way shack outside of town. Thinking that the shack was abandoned, the girls are greeted by a witch that seems to know exactly what happened to the statue and shows them the exact picture of who has gone missing. The statue is called a Kumari and is not a statue at all. It is a person who has been sacrificed for the greater good that has been encased in gold. Usually being a sign of luck in a home, if she is neglected, she can get spiteful with those in the house. Giving the three girls pendants to protect them the witch warns them about what is about to happen. Not knowing the severity of what they have done, the girls start seeing the little girl around the house and before they know it, they will be blamed for her wrongful death so many years ago. I was impressed by this movie, I must admit that the visuals were a better than I expected. With plenty of blood and beauty, I fail to see anything wrong with this movie. I like how the story took its turns to lead you to the final resting place of the Kumari, along with the neighbor who consistently appears in the house, trying to warn the girls about what might happen. I loved the dream sequence and how lifelike it was for the three and when they awaken, they can only agree that they had been drugged the night before. Little do they know what power the Kumari has and how it will change their lives forever. Stay Scared. Written by Scott Edwards THIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM. While unpacking, you may find that you might have left something in your old home that you may never be able to see again. Hopefully the new owners or old landlord will understand that you want your old things back, but they just might haul it off to the trash faster than you can say ‘Hello.’ Even if you might feel a since of loss, you will be able to get over it, as your new home will have new memories in it that nobody will be able to throw away. Arriving at their new home, Kendra is excited to start the new chapter in her life while her daughter Jamie associates their new home with mourning. Not wanting to move and start new, Jamie is lonely and is on the lookout for a new friend. As night falls in the new house, Jamie is woken up by some sort of rustle in the basement and needs to know if the new house has rats inhibiting its bowels. With the main light not working, Jamie grabs a flashlight and heads down to take a look. Seeing a box in the corner, she walks over to investigate and finds that it is filled with stuffed animals. Not worried about what may follow, Jamie is shocked by her mother who heard the same noise and came downstairs after her. Wanting to keep the stuffed animals, Jamie is upset by her mother who said that they belong to someone else and need to be returned. Convincing her mother to take one to bed with her, only for the night, Jamie has a new friend in the new house and cannot be happier. As morning comes, Kendra makes a call to the former homeowners and is surprised to hear that they want nothing to do with what they left in the house. With Jamie’s new favorite stuffed animal in hand, Kendra adds it to the wash to make it pretty for her daughter, but little do the mother and daughter know that the cute stuffed bunny may be more than they bargained for, as Princess has a streak of not liking anyone in her house. Well, after watching this, I am forced to ask why kids are always attracted to the freakiest of creepy looking dolls, as they are always bad news and continue to give me nightmares to this day. With Jamie’s fascination of her creepy stuffed bunny doll, it is obvious that there is someone or something attached to it, as you would never call a doll Princess, when it is creepy! I liked how Kendra tried to get rid of the stuffed animals in a timely manner but was disappointed when she did not heed warnings about them, since the past owner wanted nothing to do with them, pretty big red flag there. With some Halloween decorations, a box of stuffed animals, a creepy bunny stuffed animal, a child in need, an unprofessional infomercial, a Miracle Shiv (very sharp knife), a pillow case beat down and a curse that may never leave, this episode just goes to show you that sometimes things that are left behind were abandoned for a reason. Stay Scared. Written by John Edward Betancourt THIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM. YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.The truth is something that is supremely important to all of us. Because knowing it offers us closure and peace, especially when it provides us with healthy answers to questions that have eluded us for ages, and that sense of finality is why we go to great lengths to seek it. But while a quest for knowledge can indeed be a healthy thing, there are some inherent dangers that come with it. For sometimes, it can be a painful and ugly experience, since it can reveal things that perhaps we never wanted to learn in the first place, and it just so happens that the darker side to discovering the truth, served as the focal point of the next episode of Locke & Key. For ‘The Black Door’ saw several characters forge ahead to learn the truth about some of the revelations revealed in the prior episode with messy results. Nina for instance, went hard after Ellie for her apparent role in Joe Ridgeway’s death and well, her desire to get the police involved and to get Ellie to talk about what happened that night ended badly. Because the police could find no evidence of foul play and were forced to rule Joe’s death as an outright suicide and Nina’s only friend turned her back on her when all is said and done. Because Ellie wasn’t good with the implication that she was the one responsible for putting Joe down, despite the fact that she was indeed there that night and really, the only thing Nina has to show for her quest for knowledge, is that now she knows the matching scars were created in tribute to a fallen friend, provided of course Ellie is telling the truth. But while that doesn’t exactly show us true dangers that come with finding the truth, Nina’s story more or less served to prepare us for the darker journey that was handled by Kinsey. Because she was determined to uncover the truth about her father, and her fearless nature and ability to forge ahead without a care in the world, finally put herself and others in genuine risk. For she firmly believed that the caves would answer a great many questions about dear old dad and when Tyler refused to go down there with her, she used the Savini Squad’s desire to find a good location to shoot the finale of The Splattering to lead them deep into the caves where tragedy befell Rendell ages ago. And while Kinsey was able to learn that a massive door in the shape of the Omega symbol resides within this cave, her quest for this door came at a great cost. Because the tide rushed in, forcing everyone to abandon the gear and make a dangerous trek back to the other side and once there, Kinsey more or less said goodbye to a majority of her friends since they weren’t keen on having their lives put at risk in the name of Kinsey’s quest for knowledge. Yet while these were powerful plot points in their own right, the story also offered up a different perspective on how people handle their quest for the truth, in that… sometimes they simply don’t want to know said truth after all. Because they’re so hurt by what they’ve already discovered that that they simply shrink away and hide from the world and fester in negativity and that’s precisely what Tyler did in this tale. Because the thought that his dad might be a killer, combined with the pain already present in his heart prompted him to abandon the keys, and anything good in his life and that meant his budding relationship with Jackie came to a unfortunate and infuriating end and to make matters worse, someone evil is eager to take advantage of his broken mental state. For the woman in the well, who identified herself as Dodge, quickly swooped in and made an advance in order to get Tyler’s attention and it’s working and that’s terrifying. Because it is clear that getting close to him is part of the plan to get the keys and everything else, she wants within the walls of Key House, and that likely puts Tyler’s life in grave danger since Dodge doesn’t seem to care about anyone or anything outside of her quest and herself. Plus, to make matters worse, Sam Lesser broke out of prison using the Fire Key, and he’s found his way to Key House and that is going to be bad news for the Locke family since he undoubtedly still has his heart set on unlocking its secrets, at any cost. But all of that aside, this really was quite the quality episode. Because it really did a phenomenal job of showing the audience how learning the truth can sometimes be a rough experience and it also excelled at moving the plot forward by having Dodge take matters into her own hands. If anything, it’s probably best to declare this episode to be the best that season one has offered to date, since it was perfectly balanced story wise and perhaps the best part of this particular tale is that it leaves you hungry for more. Because this one just upped the ante danger wise and it is going to be quite interesting to see how the family deals with the return of Sam and what will happen when Tyler discovers that he’s cozying up to a monster. Until next time. Written by John Edward BetancourtThere never quite seems to be enough time anymore. We get up, we go about our day and we are always being chased by the clock. Minute by minute, hour after hour we see our windows of opportunity slipping away with the steady tick of the second hand. We lament this as often as possible for as the hours slip away, so does our ability to accomplish anything productive and often times our day ends with us lying back down, our mind on tomorrow and accomplishing all those things we missed out on today and always wondering where the time has gone. It's an important question and one that is answered in the most horrific fashion possible in the 1995 miniseries, The Langoliers. A routine red eye flight from Boston to Los Angeles becomes the source of terror for several passengers who awaken in the middle of the night to discover that they are the only people on the plane. Thankfully a pilot is aboard as well but their situation quickly becomes all the more precarious. For there is no one on the radio and when they finally reach an airport, no one on the ground. There is only silence and with the help of a mystery writer they discover that they have traveled into the past and now it will be a race to get back to their own time. For a horrible noise is on the horizon and with this noise comes the discovery of what happens to yesterday when people and time have left it behind. This was to say the least, the least horrific miniseries to come out of the 1990's Stephen King miniseries boom. It was also sadly, the weakest entry out of all of them. Not that it wasn't entertaining, as it most certainly was. After all, the scenes where everyone is trying to figure out what happened to the world are unsettling indeed. The unknown surrounds both the viewer and the characters and the horrible noise that the Langoliers provide adds a fine level of terror and tension. But the motion picture plays out more like a mystery, and while it is indeed entertaining there are some moments where you wish the plot would advance a little faster. But perhaps the part that took me out of the motion picture were the monsters themselves. With such a grand buildup to these creatures that devour the past and everything within it, their appearance was well... underwhelming. The cheesy CGI effects simply leave you wanting more. However, while the plot does drag at times and the monsters are as goofy as they come, this particular entry in the Stephen King universe is watchable. The overreaching mystery is engrossing and Bronson Pinchot’s over the top performance somehow draws you in. Just don't go into this one expecting the wallop of It or The Stand and enjoy this one for what it is... pure entertainment. Written by Scott Edwards Control is a big thing for a lot of people, and some have always wished they could control the minds of an entire nation in order to rule its people completely. Although no one has fully figured out the formula, many tests have been done over the years and it seems like something somebody would be able to crack, maybe they already have. I still know several people that believe that mind control drugs are being put in the flu shots that we receive each year and because of this, some of them still refuse to get one. It's an interesting thought and there might be some truth behind it, you just need to figure out what the trigger is and I swear if it is a song from the eighties, I might have to hurt someone. James Hirsh is looking for the truth behind the stories of mind control experiments that the government has put unsuspecting citizens through over the years. Being able to get a sample of Dimethyltryptamine-19 from a friend in Colorado, James is ready to put it to the test. With his friend Renny videotaping the experiment, the first half hour goes off without a hitch, but then he starts hearing strange sounds in the house. When his radio comes alive with the tune of a music box playing, he then hears someone narrating numbers that do not seem to make any sense. James’ demeanor then begins to change and when he begins crying out that there is someone out to get him, he vanishes from the house without a trace and only one picture has been seen of him after that, where he appears to be a soulless body. Hearing about the strange occurrence that has happened to her friend James, journalist Anne Roland jumps into action to find out what really happened. Searching James’s house, she finds an old tape that documents the experiments of Project MK-Ultra that used the Dimethyltryptamine regularly on its test subjects. As this is not enough information to go off of to find her friend, Anne investigates the strange numbers that were being spoken over the radio. She finds out that there are numerous broadcasts like this that play at all hours of the day around the country, but the phantom radio station that delivered the message to James came from an area by the dessert and can only be heard between three and five AM. Finding that there is someone watching her, but not knowing who it is in the dark, Anne runs and tells her boss about her progress. Finding out that the letter that was signed to James was actually referencing a book, Anne is able to track down and befriend the author, a man named Thomas Blackburn who has been in trouble with the law before for shooting people. and for going to the bathroom in public or using all kinds of drugs. Getting a little bit of the background from Thomas, Anne is invited to a little party he will be throwing where he will be taking the Dimethyltryptamine once again. It is not his first time with this drug, but this time his hallucinations have become more real than they ever have been before. Anne is seeing the same things as everyone else, but does not know what door has been opened and who is after the group, but when she finds an old map that can take them to where the original experiments were conducted, she knows they can put an end to the madness before everyone winds up dead. In reading the description to this movie, you really do not know what you are getting yourself into. I think it should say something to the tune of, Mind control conspiracy gone wrong while two men have gone missing and only one woman and a retired writer can find the true answers. I don’t know, but that might have caught my attention a little bit more and done the movie some justice. Do you want to know what the drug does? Well here comes a spoiler so turn away if the answer is no. It turns your brain into a receiver for someone, something that is not of this earth, to take over and wear your skin like a puppet. I did enjoy this movie, I think a little bit more than I should have, but I am a sucker for the based on real life events storylines. And with all of the experiments that were done in mind control research in the early sixties, I am sure that they were able to come up with something that actually worked, and it might not be from another realm. While you are able to put on a mask or paint your face up to act a fool for the night, you should always be mindful about the future generations, as this night should be for them as well. It does not matter if you are looking to get scared out of your boots at a haunted house or get a massive sugar rush by eating handfuls of candy, it is a night that should be enjoyed by all. Just make sure when you head out for the night that you are on the lookout for those who may be trying to ruin it for the rest of us, because that is what some people like to do. While running through the woods with only a flashlight, a young woman is looking for some sort of safe haven after being chased by someone. Seeing a house in the distance, the woman is able to make it to the property line and sees a Halloween Graveyard, showing that the family inside really likes Halloween. Despite the scares frightening her just a bit, she makes her way into the house and rests a bit while looking at her bruises from being restrained in the past. Thinking that she lost the person following her, she is shocked when she hears a knock at the door and runs into the living room to find a good place to hide. Seeing lights flashing in the upstairs window, a man in a hockey mask decides that the house is the next place he is going to check for his prey. Entering the house and finding it quiet, the man looks around and finds the television in the living room has been paused, causing pause for him as well. Looking around more on the main floor, he hears the television come back to life and knows that his prey is somewhere near. Making his way upstairs, the man takes a brief look around, but turns his focus to the flashing light in the bedroom. Opening the door, the man is shocked to see he was the not the first one there, and someone is about to change his life forever. Interesting little story here, as a twist makes sure you will question what you just watched. As the woman moves around the house, she appears to be fearful for her life, but comes to find out that she is not the only victim as the house had a previous visitor. The man seems to have an idea about the house and while the television is set to pause on a great scene from Night of the Living Dead, his search for the woman comes at a great price. With a Halloween Graveyard, some bruises, a kitchen knife, a machete, a hockey mask, a great black and white movie and a twist, this episode really gets you wondering what would happen if someone thought you were following them and they took it a step too far. Stay Scared. |
