It is definitely safe to say that the first season of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, was quite revolutionary in nature. In large part because… it finally allowed for this story to truly reach its potential. For the original was muted in many ways by the era in which it was released. But in 2024, everything Anne wanted to explore can be explored and that allowed for a powerful first season to take place. One that showcased representation properly and of course, offered up a fresh take on this true classic, and it also left us eager for more of Louis’ sorrowful tale, which is a wait that is nearing its end.
