Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Let’s just take a moment to awe at the amazingness that is Mark Shepherd. He is one of the most amazing actors to ever grace TV, and honestly, Crowley would not be as great as he was were it not for the genius that is Mark. Okay, at this point I’m a little intimidated to ever meet the man, but, hey, you never know. Last night Crowley not only showed a loving side, but proved that even the King of Hell has his moments of ‘Oh s*it, what did I do’. Yep, It seems Amara is a little more than he can handle. Or more than anyone can handle really. She’s consuming souls at an alarming rate, and it seems that the type, human or demon, doesn’t really matter. She’s hungry and won’t be stopped. By the end of it, Amara has even grown a bit more…and Crowley, who has bitten off more than he can chew, has tried to say no to feeding her more…well, I feel this isn’t going to end well for our King. For things not going well, the second, or first really, award goes to Castiel, who is under the influence of the spell Rowena cast upon him. While he didn’t kill anyone, that wasn’t trying to kill him, yet, he is struggling to keep it together. Fighting the spell is proving hard, and even sending the angel into seizures. Sam and Dean put their plans to find Metatron on hold in order to focus on helping Cas. Which means finding Rowena, which means doing so before Crowley can have her assassinated. That shouldn’t be so hard, right? Eventually they do find Rowena and the Codex, but they don’t find the Book of the Damned. Rowena has been off trying to start her own Coven of Witches, but recruitment is a little dry. Nobody seems interested in being a part of her Mega Coven. Now with Crowley trying to kill her she’s trying to skip town. Thankfully the brothers get to her first. The deal is simple, free Cas and she can go free. Dean decides to add in the Book of the Damned though. Speaking of Cas, he’s off on an adventure of his own! More like running off to murder people. Sam and Dean track his phone while Rowena brings up some…secrets. Sam never did tell Dean he’d made a deal with Rowena. If she lifted the Mark of Cain from his older brother, Sam would kill Crowley. Why so much Crowley hate? Sure he’s a demon, but he’s the coolest demon! Of course Dean isn’t happy. He’s even less so when he finds Cas strangling a girl, only he does save the chick. And Rowena does hold up her end of the bargain and frees Cas from the spell. She escapes with a flick of her wrist. Cas seems fine, and Dean….he’s a little off kilter. Seems he can’t get the image of the Darkness and his meeting to get out of his mind. Are they tied together? Are they going to help each other? Amara seems afraid of God finding her. Then again, she’s eating souls…so, maybe God had the right idea to lock her up…
