Written by Scott Edwards There are many different ways to make some extra money these days, but you have to allow yourself to step out of your comfort zone. Many people are not comfortable in doing this and who should be, your comfort zone is where you like to be, and it should not be any other way. But if you are willing to let the walls break down, you are able to find another world out there that you may have not noticed that is filled with more rewards than you could have ever expected. But by doing this you are also able to see some of the darker spots that you have been trying to avoid while out of your comfort zone as well, you just have to keep your eyes and ears open to make sure the risk is worth the reward. A new offer has been put out there from the local newspaper for evidence proving the legendary Beast of X Moor exists that Georgia and her boyfriend Matt cannot pass up. Twenty-five thousand pounds is a lot of money in and outside of Europe and the couple has a way to claim the prize. With cameras galore, Matt is ready to roll, but Georgia has to make a quick stop on her way up to the northern moor, for she has found a man that has seen the Beast of X Moor and knows where to find the cat. Only needing to get a picture to prove that the cat exists to claim the prize, Georgia and Matt have no idea what secrets the moor holds, especially when the sun goes down. Meeting up with their tracker, Fox, the two find out that he has a woman in the house that has seen the beast up close. Listening to her story, the group takes off on their adventure and they are ready to collect on the reward. Arriving at the edge of the forest, Matt and Georgia start setting up the cameras as the sun starts to set. Knowing that the beast is reported to come out at night, they are sure that this will give them their best chance at capturing a shot of it. But all bets are off when Georgia stumbles upon a body of a dead woman and when Fox comes to investigate, he spots five more. Finding a serial killer's dumping ground, Matt and Georgia try to leave, but navigating the moor in the dark is next to impossible and they have to stay with Fox who has a plan of his own. Wanting to catch the killer and get the headlines, Fox comes clean about his involvement on the hunt and tells the couple about all of the women that have gone missing in the area. Being in the devil’s playground, Matt and Georgia have to stay and try to help Fox and while watching their video feed, Matt sees one of the dead girls come to life. Trying to locate the young woman, the group heads into the darkness not knowing if the killer is there, or among them. With only the light of the moon and their flashlights to show them the way, every step could be their last. If you like movies that are dark and a little bit twisted, this is the one for you. You get your first twist when it is revealed that the Beast of X Moor (also the alternate title to this film) is not the fabled cat that everyone has been looking for since the 70’s, but a serial killer that has his own game to play with his prey. Then you get a bit deeper into the human psyche as attitudes start to change when everyone is faced with death. With so many things running through the minds of the beast’s new prey, you get to see them battle not only the dark, but their own emotions that change how they handle themselves from being put in such an awkward situation. There are some parts of this movie that left me shaking my head, but overall, it is the story that keeps you glued to the screen and it is not a waste of your time to watch at all. Stay Scared.
