AMC Networks Releases New Teaser for Anne Rice’s ‘Mayfair Witches’

One thing that we can all agree upon, is that the new AMC series, Interview with the Vampire, has been nothing short of phenomenal. For it is deep, and brilliant and scary, and everything we ever wanted out of an adaptation of this story, and it is so top-notch in its quality… that it is quickly building excitement for the other Anne Rice properties that AMC brought into the fold, such as Mayfair Witches. Because if this is what we are getting with this incredible story, imagine what AMC will do with Witches, and well… AMC is fully aware of the excitement and buzz now surrounding all the Anne Rice shows.

Which is precisely why they released a brand-new teaser trailer today and an updated release date for the series. ‘Today, AMC Networks released a new teaser for the highly anticipated series Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches. The second series in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe will now debut on Sunday, January 8 on AMC+ and AMC.

Based on Rice’s best-selling trilogy, Lives of the Mayfair Witches, the 8-episode series focuses on an intuitive young neurosurgeon, Rowan (Daddario), who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.’
