Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Gotham has a new vigilante in town and his name is Batma—wait…Balloonman? Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, Balloonman. He strikes fear into the hearts of Gotham’s worst criminals, and most corrupt. Leaping taller than, maybe a curb, and possibly able to run, not very fast, he is the night! But he sometimes strikes during the day too. So, it really just depends. This fighter of justice takes those he deems worthy, handcuffs them to a weather balloon and lets them fly off into the sky. To then promptly die a horrid death before the balloon pops and they’re sent crashing back to earth…already dead. It’s a real feel-good episode. Also, we learn that Gordon has signed for custody of Selena, who isn’t as cooperative as we would like her to be. She does show Gordon to the allEy where the Wayne’s were shot. She explains what happened, where she was, and that she saw the man's face. Gordon doesn’t believe her until he finds the wallet she’d stolen in the sewer, where she said it would be. Guys, sewers are gross. And if you’re watching this while eating dinner, like me, I don’t recommend that…Nevertheless, before Gordon can talk to her more, Selena takes off. To do what? Oh, you know, pre-Catwoman stuff. All the while, Gordon is trying to get Bullock to take the case seriously. Balloonman has already killed one man who stole money from many people. His next target is a cop that was a little more corrupt than most. This finally gets Bullock to start looking into the case. Gordon’s getting a bit tired constantly having to twist his partner's arm into doing the right thing. Things couldn’t get any worse, well not for the Penguin anyway. He’s back in Gotham and already found a new job. Sure he’s murdered a few people along the way, but that’s only because he had to. Working your way up the crime syndicate food chain is a hard thing to do. But he’s determined to do just that. Thankfully, his murder is still being investigated. Montoya is still convinced that Gordon killed the young Oswald. She visits Barbara; again, to convince her that Gordon is no good. Barbara, however, is busy smoking a joint, and trying to chill. You know, normal, girlfriend of a cop, things. In the end, Balloonman is caught, and Gordon is struggling with the fact that the city is beyond repair. Or so he feels. With Selena still on the loose, and the Wayne’s killer out there, he’s starting to lose hope. Bruce, on the other hand, has started eating, and is oddly fascinated with the idea of a vigilante. Having spent his days studying the crime scene photos of his parents’ murder, Bruce is looking for justice…just not the way the Balloonman did. Whether or not anyone agrees with the Balloonman’s methods, he sure did get results. Sadly, he was caught, but the idea he leaves behind has already sparked something in a few of Gotham’s unsung heroes.

Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISD TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Last week on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. we learned the true meaning of friendship! I’m just kidding…. we really learned not to betray our friends. Mostly, because it’s just not nice; thankfully nobody really betrayed anyone. Not technically. In this episode, our body changing baddie is still on the loose with this mysterious, original, 0-8-4. With two agents down, and a third injured, the odds are not looking good. But the Team has their hands on something very important, a Quinjet, and that gives them an advantage over the U.S. Military. With the help of Fitz, Mac is able to replicate the technology. While May follows our mutant bad guy, waiting to see whom his HYDRA contact is. Skye is starting to worry about Coulson, and Triplett is still very pretty. With all of that going on, it seems General Talbot has taken an interest in our mercenary. He offers the man a deal…Deliver Coulson to him for the low price of 2 million dollars. Not that bad of a deal right? Of course he takes it. As if things couldn’t get any worse, Raina shows up again. Offering our man with the changing skin a rare metal that’s three times stronger than diamond. He takes it, of course. Never let it be said that you can trust the girl in the flower dress. Raina gets in contact with Coulson, and informs him that the metal she gave our baddy has a tracking device in it. She’s no longer working for HYDRA. Instead, she’s working for Skye’s father. Why? We’ll hopefully find out soon. Though he is intent on finding his daughter. Coulson formulates a plan, and Fitz and Mac find a way to neutralize the powers of the changing man. He’s turned to stone by an old invention courtesy of Fitz’. Coulson brings the now, fully stone, bad guy to Talbot, with another offer of partnership. Talbot refuses, and Coulson leaves with both the Quinjet and Bus in full stealth mode. So what’s next? Raina is out there, with Skye’s dad, and both have the 0-8-4. Talbot is still on their heels…and Simmons? She’s nowhere to be found…or is she? With so much going on, it’s hard to wait until tonight for the newest episode. Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...This show is something I have not been the best at keeping up with. However, when I heard they were doing a Frozen story line, I knew I had to watch. Last Sunday was the premiere of season 4, and this show kicked off with one fun opener. After all, we know the Disney movie that has defined a princess story for a generation. With Elsa and Anna joining the ever growing cast of fairy tale characters on this whirlwind show. Last week we got our introductions of the newest additions. Elsa arrived in Storybrooke with one goal in mind, find her sister Anna. At the end of last week, Elsa put a wall of ice around the town, demanding Anna be found. This week, Emma, Hook, and Charming find the ice wall and run into the worried Queen. Feeling threatened, Elsa traps her and Emma in a cove of ice leaving Charming and Hook frantically scrambling for a way to them. Emma, however, isn't immune to the cold like Elsa is, and soon she's failing to keep warm or awake. The two do get a chance to bond before Emma passes out. Sharing one common interest, an inability to control their powers. With all that happening in the present, there is always a past story intertwined in all this. We get to see the backstory of Anna's arrival into the Enchanted Forest. As it so happens, a young Prince Charming, David, knew Anna's fiancé, Kristoff. Because of this, David offers Anna a place to sleep along her journey. And we also get to see Little Bo Peep. Bo isn't the kind little sheep herder we all know and love. Instead she uses her staff to control and mark people. With such powers, she intimidates people into paying her protection money. I gotta admit, I admire that just a bit, but then again she is somewhat evil. When Bo shows up at David's farm demanding money, Anna is determined to make David fight for his land. In the end, David does fight and win against Bo. But not before she marks David and Anna. Fast forward to the present and we just happen to find Bo again. She's a butcher with attitude. Still, Hook and Charming take her staff and make their way back to Emma and Elsa. Using Emma's radio, Charming talks Elsa down. The Queen finally gets ahold of her powers and gets her and Emma out. Emma's safe in Hook's arms and everyone is safe. Right? Not so much...once Emma is safe, she tries to help Elsa with her powers in taking the ice wall down. That wall, it's not going anywhere. Convinced she's the only one with ice powers, Elsa is confused. A simple ice cream shop owner doesn't seem to be so normal. When she touches things and they turn to ice. With such strong magic, it seems this girl will be a formidable opponent. Is there more to this story? Of course! There's no such thing as a coincidence. Not in Storybrooke. |
