Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...There are good ideas and then there are bad ideas. And sometimes, there are really bad ideas. This episode of Tomorrow People was totally filled with bad ideas. First, we start with Uncle Jed, kicking back, hanging with Morgan, having a good time…then Morgan leaves, and Jed's filled with a fitful sleep plagued with memories and guilt. He's not dealing well with how things happened with John because he saw the kid as his own, in a way. Well, Cara and Russell get it in their heads that it might just be a good idea to dream rape his mind and find out all they can about Ultra and Stephen's long lost, probably dead, dad. Only, it goes wrong. Cara gets away unseen, but Russell isn't so lucky, and after a skirmish and Tomorrow People inhibiting tech, Russell is able to teleport out of there, only Jed hitches a ride. That's right, Jed is inadvertently kidnapped. Which has Ultra calling in the big, bad, head of the company. One of the two surviving cofounders of the company. Yes, the same who got intimate with Stephen's brain a few episodes back. Here we learn that some psychics have a Matrix like plug hooded up to the top of their spine and can plug right into a computer to do a psychic search for pretty much anyone on the planet. We also learn that Stephen's dad, Jed, and this guy are the founders of Ultra…Ultra wasn't originally this bad place that killed the Tomorrow People. It was designed to help them and eventually make their presence known to the rest of the world. What went wrong? Jed's just a tad jealous that he doesn't have these powers. Somewhere along the way, things got twisted….and Stephen's dad? Well, he didn't like that…so Jed sent John to kill him…and John did…and then John ran from Ultra and swore to help his kind. Which he did. But now everything is in jeopardy because Jed's tied up in their home base. While Stephen is off staling Ultra on a wild goose chase, one that leads him to find Morgan and find out that she's one of them…and that she's in love with Jed, Cara decides to get in Jed's head again; without revealing that she still has her powers. Things, of course, go from bad to worse, and Jed gets a hold of Russell and is close to killing him. Cara makes the choice to teleport and save Russell. She tells Jed that they have a cure for his little drug. He doesn't believe her. With that all out in the open, John's left with a tough choice. He takes Jed and intends to kill him. In the last second though, he doesn't and inadvertently, he gets captured…and that's what we're left with…. On a brighter note, Stephen's dad might not be dead. He might just be trapped between being alive and being dead. John, on the other hand, totally S.O.L. unless Stephen can find a way to get him out of Ultra. It's not looking good, but the mid season finale airs on December 11th, so hopefully, this will be a GOOD episode! I'm already scared! I hope John will be okay.
