Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Holy monkeys! Okay, so last week we were left with a bit of a cliff hanger. Ultra had captured John and it didn't look good. This week, well, I was right…it wasn't good! Not for poor John anyway. We start out with the 'Founder' ("head of Ultra" I guess? He's creepy) torturing John for information. John, however, was trained by Jed himself, so he's not about to crack and tell the Founder where the Tomorrow People are hiding. This is when the Founder decides to tell Stephen the truth about his dad. John killed him. Stephen's so shocked he leaves to clear his head. In the meantime, Cara is 27 kinds of livid over Jed taking John. So, what's an angry girl to do? Why, kidnap Jed's girlfriend Morgan…With Russell's help, of course. Once Morgan's secure, Cara pops in to give Jed an ultimatum. Hand John over, or he'll never see Morgan again. But, Jed can't free John, there's no way of getting him out with the Founder there. So, this is where things get clever. (Remember, Jed's actor was Lucifer on Supernatural…so never doubt his clever little mind.) Jed figures out how Cara still has her powers. He knows Stephen stopped time, switched the cure for saline, and freed her. Jed confronts Stephen and then tells him that he understands. Sometimes, love over comes all things. The plan to save John turns out to be brilliant. Jed slips him a key to the cuffs. John gets free and takes Stephen hostage, shoots his way out of Ultra, and back to the Tomorrow People, and Cara. Cara keeps her end of the bargain and brings Jed Morgan…only Jed demands they keep Morgan with them. The Founder's pissed that John got away and Jed doesn't want him finding out about Morgan, because believe it or not, he truly loves her. (Is there a good side to Jed?) Which doesn't help, because the Founder does find out about Morgan (well, Jed told him about her anyway.) So, in order to make sure she truly is safe, he fakes her death. For a minute, it doesn't look fake. Like, he literally puts a pillow over her head while she's sleeping and shoots it. There's even blood! But, low and behold, she is alive and safe with John and Cara. Shortly after that, though, John reveals that he did kill Stephen's dad. Cara's furious with this lie (because it's not an episode if she's not mad at John for something! Just look at his abs girl, you'll forget all about any anger!) that John's been telling. Saying that Stephen's dad is still alive and out there…But he's not. Or is he? This leads Stephen down a path to find his father. One that invokes one theory! It's impossible to stop time while teleporting…but it's possible to stop time at the time of death. Stephen persuades John to medically kill him in order to find and see his dad again. John, feeling guilty…does it. Cara, not okay with this plan, brings Stephen back as quickly as she can. Stephen wakes with the words "I saw him" and "We have to find his body". (Which is different from the 'hey, I need help burying a body' texts I send Mattie!) Stephen's dad is alive! We have confirmation! And, The Tomorrow People has a full first season, so when we return in January, there will be more awesome goodness! I'm so excited to find out what happens! Seriously! Does Stephen's dad come back? What does the Founder want with Stephen!? Does Cara choose John over Stephen? Or does she give in and choose Stephen? What about Astrid!? She's still got feelings for Stephen! Maybe she ends up with Russell?! So many possibilities and we have to wait an entire month to find out what happens next! At least John is alive, and safe, for now!
