Written by: ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...If ever there was a time in your life where you wanted a TV show to reach into your chest, rip your heart out, and stomp on it, it's this one. Over the summer, Mattie (the worlds best roommate and best friend) got me into Supernatural. I didn't think I'd fall so hard for this show, but I did! (It's Misha's fault.) Season 9 kicked off with the instant tug of heartstrings! At first, it looks like things are fine. Sam and Dean are in the Impala driving, as they discuss the falling of the angels. When, boom we find out that Sam's in a coma, he's dying, and this is all in his head. Dean's struggling to keep it together as he watches his brother's health steadily declines. Dean slinks off to the chapel to pray. Turns out, that's not the best idea. Meanwhile, Castiel's grace has been stolen; leaving him completely human and forced to deal with people. Cas doesn't have the best of people skills. He runs' into another angel, Hail, who he offers to help. While Dean is suddenly faced with an angry angel, looking for Castiel having heard his prayer for someone to come save Sam. Before things get too hairy, Ezekiel shows up and saves the day! Rescuing Dean…also, Crowley's in the trunk (that's not where the King of Hell goes!) and offer's to help Sam. Sam, in his head, struggles with whether to fight to live, or to give in and die, a truly moral dilemma. (I wasn't crying, I swear.) Death himself makes an appearance to collect Sam himself. However, Winchester's can't just die, so Dean (who's really Ezekiel) pleads with him; changing Sam's mind. Now, possessed with an angel (unbeknownst to him) Sam wakes in the Impala. Dean says everything's fine and that they're off to fix everything. (with Crowley still in the trunk.) While all that was going on, Castiel crashed a car to get away from Hail, who wanted to merge with his vessel to become a more powerful angel. None of them have any idea that Naomi is dead; and Metatron is still out there (theoretically.) What an emotional roller-coaster! And that was just the first episode of the season! What else is in store for the season? Well, Castiel forwent his trench coat and suit, which is not okay! Dean's lying to Sam. Sam has no clue he's harboring an angel. Annndddd we still don't know where God is. With a heaven full of angels after them, surely there won't be a dull moment this season.
