Shae's Geeky New Year Resolutions

Can a resolution be geeky? It totally can! Everything I do is on the level of geek and that is an awesome level. While it's a bit past New Year's, it's never too late for some Resolutions, or as I like to call them, my Shae-lutions. Is that a real thing? It is from now on.

I feel like saying I'm going to get into shape is a generic resolution and a bold faced lie. I have made that every year for the past decade and manage to eat ice cream for dinner quite often. Should you be eating ice cream for dinner? If you like it, yes. I'm an adult and that means I eat what I want. But, I could be making healthier choice and that's my first Shae-solution. Eating better, maybe some exercises, possibly even lift some weights....mostly the eating better then. Maybe have ice cream for dinner one night and then have pudding the next. Or more salads, because green food is healthy for you. Or that's the lie the grocery store tells us. Brussel sprouts seriously weird me out. They're like tiny cabbages! Cabbage shouldn't ever be that tiny! It looks like it could be plotting something. For the real!

My next Shae-lution is to learn to sew. Now, I know many of you are shocked to find out that I can't sew, but it's been on my list of things to do for a while and I feel this will be the year I learn to do it! Plus, it'll make Cosplay construction more fun! Mattie was kind enough to dust off, put together, and test a second machine we were given and I am so excited to learn how to use it and to start making my own things! The possibilities are endless. I mean who wouldn't want to wear a Shae Original?! Cosplaying is a massive love of my life and I can't wait to get started on the ones I have planned for you guys! Speaking of Cosplay, boy, do I ever have a list of up coming ones for you guys. I'm ambitious for someone who can't even work on a sewing machine...yet.

Or course writing is always a resolution for me. However, I have some more original content I want to put up and expansions on some other pieces and a few new series planned. I also plan to play more video games! After all, I got a few for Christmas, what's the point in having them if I don't play them? 2015 needs to see some more nerdiness, it just does! Can it get more nerdy? Always.
