Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Can we take a moment here to just admire the balls Selina Kyle has? For real, she chills in Jim and Barbara's old apartment whenever she feels like it and eats whatever food is there. She's a girl after my own heart. She also has no remorse for her actions. I don't blame her. She says it herself; better there then on the streets. Jim stumbles upon her as he returns his keys, clearly not staying there anymore. Selina informs him she lied about seeing the Wayne's murderers face and leaps off the balcony. After that, Jim visits Bruce and finds out that the young boy isn't interested in anything the detective has to say. Seems Gordon isn't getting results fast enough and Bruce is a bit bitter about that. He brushes off Gordon, telling him to not worry about finding his parent's killer. Bruce has decided he'll do it on his own. With all that going on, it seems there's also a new murderer around town. Someone is killing people, so far just one guy, and taking a particular organ from them. Nygma sneaks into the medical examiners autopsy room and takes a look for himself. Sadly, he's caught by said medical examiner and the chief. Our plucky little riddle lover is suspended...which really annoys Jim when he finds out. Thankfully, he has a backup. A call to Ms. Tompkins has them meeting for a somewhat date. Of which, the two finally clear the air, and Jim admits he really likes her, he's just bad at dating. Before the date begins and before she can even look at the file, Jim is called away. Earlier, he and Harvey has stumbled upon a crime scene, and the victim is waking up. With all that going on Harvey decides to do some detective work of his own. He happens to be crushing hard core on the girl they questioned about the first victim. Both victims were part of a phobia support group, and the girl runs it, aside from being a member and a sponsor. She happens to have a fear of swimming pools. Thanks to her, Harvey gives the group a shot. Whether he's being honest about his fear or not is up for debate (aside from trying to win the girl over, I truly think he was being somewhat honest). During his group session, Todd, a fellow member, breaks down and leaves. Our love interest follows and Harvey eventually goes looking when neither return. With some calls, Harvey and Jim track down the pair at a local swimming pool where our girl is currently passed out at the bottom of. Jim pursues "Todd" and sadly loses him. Have our brilliant writers set up another bad guy? If it looks like the work of the Scarecrow, or his origins, it could easily be the Scarecrow. I truly hope it is anyway. Harvey saves our maiden and the baddy gets away. Nygma decides he's tired of the medical examiner and might hide some body parts in his locker. Said examiner is fired and Nygma is back to work. Is his love interest, Kringle, finally coming around? I hope so! They're awkwardly cute! And, the best plot twist of all, for me, Penguin gets his just desserts. When things seem to be going too well with Maroni, a phone call interrupts their lunch. Seems Fish is a spiteful thing. She fills the Don in on who Penguin is really working for. Maroni doesn't take any of this lightly and takes the little scamp on a trip. In a heated "truth for truth" game, Penguin loses his cool and spills everything to Maroni before shooting him with his own gun. Just kidding, Maroni's gun was filled with blanks (which, really, at that close of range would have acted like a real bullet, but hey! Gun nerd in the house!) and soon our creepy friend finds himself in a car about to be crushed in a junk yard. He only escapes because he convinces the operator of the machine that Falcone will kill his whole family if Penguin is found dead. What will Falcone do? How livid is Maroni? And what happened to Butch! Our final scene has the ship Fish is on being attacked and her going head to head with a gunmen. What wild cards are in store for us tonight? Awesome ones I hope.
