Written by: ShaeThis week the Interns got the best gift Regina could give! The gift of presenting an original comic idea, of theirs, to the Generalisimo himself; Stan Lee. Her purpose? To teach the Interns how to talk to a celebrity without geeking out because apparently, celebrities are people too! Except for Misha, he's my spirit animal. This, of course, goes over like she just told a bunch of comic lovers that they get to pitch an idea to Stan Lee--which is filled with much excitement. The reactions range from, "Hey, that's cool." to "OMG I can't believe this!" to "I already have a comic done for this." Which Molly says…and Mike decides that Molly's probably met Jesus. But! Before the pitches are made, the group heads downtown for some group bonding time. Andrew performs a standup comedy routine, which was pretty hilarious. There's a reason he's my second favorite on the show and then there's spray painting, costume gluing and s'mores! Seriously, I was beyond jealous with their s'more eating….It's okay, Dani and Sal went for gelato! That's right, they have their date! It goes pretty well! Sal plans to ask Dani out again and Dani proclaims her attraction to him. Date two next episode? Maybe dinner? Are they still together!? I hope so! Onto the pitches! Which had some pretty great and interesting idea's are thrown around. Super-vilannesses as the main focus of a comic (Molly); a pregnant teenager with superpowers (Mike); body transforming, super strong/fast/cicada powered girl (Dani); a teenager who gets possessed by the powers of a Native American god (Sal); a 'take down the system', time traveling vigilante (Paul); vigilante that can see into the future and jump super high, with the help of an injected chemical (Andrew); a heroine with an unlocked ancient spirit magic who can cast spells (Kristin)! Wow, great imaginations! I wish these were comics that I could read! How did they do? Unfortunately we won't know until next weeks episode. But I think, it's safe to say, everyone had such great charisma and ideas! Who was your favorite superhero from these guys? Which comic would you read? I really liked all of them!
