Written by ShaeTHIS IS THE EMERGENCY SPOILER ALERT SYSTEM...YOU ARE ADVISED TO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK...Hey guys! Welcome to this week's recap of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! Firstly, I owe you guys a huge apology. I did end up missing last weeks recap, and for that I am beyond sorry. Sometimes life just gets a little to hectic. While I try to make sure I keep things up to date for you guys, sometimes things just slip through the cracks! But, I'm back! I'm here, and we're in this together! I'm going to warn you, this episode was tough and awesome all at the same time. Tough because, well, Ward…I can't forgive him. Ever. And awesome because we do get some back story! We start with our team in the hotel planning their attack! Triplett had gone to retrieve his grandfathers stuff, because Howling Commando stuff is way cooler than anything they have today. I'm just saying. Well, that and Ward kind of has their Bus, so they need all the help they can get. Once they have that, we get to see some of Ward's past. Turns out, he set the house on fire when he was a teen, with his little brother inside…he didn't know about the brother. Garrett finds him in prison and convinces him to join him, and to join S.H.I.E.L.D. Of course, as soon as Ward agrees, Garrett takes him out into the woods and leaves him there for 6 months, with a dog. Ward could leave at any point, but decides to stick it out. When Garrett returns, he explains that he'd only meant to be gone a few day months, not 6, but was sent on a mission. Not too long after, Garrett shows his mangled side, covered with metal, and explains how he'd been injured in the field. S.H.I.E.L.D. decided not to help, and Garrett swore to get his revenge. Now we know how Garrett and Ward both ended up as apart of HYDRA. Ward's final test, before being accepted into S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA is to shoot the dog he's been with for 6 months. Only,he can't do it...that's a weakness Garrett personally takes care of. Meanwhile, Coulson and May go undercover, looking to have Cybertek take them in as 'ex-scientists of S.H.I.E.L.D." Fitz and Simmons talk them through everything via ear pieces, which leads to some humorous moments. Skye thinks there's a computer mainframe on the 4th floor of the building they're in, so once that failed interview is over, they hit the elevators and go up. Only, Cybertek is far smarter than they seem, and so they don't actually keep digital data, but rater files upon files. May finds the Deathlok cab nit, and they throw it out a window before making a break for it. Skye lets them know that she's written a virus that can track the Bus's movements and thus Ward and Garrett, only, she needs to plug it into one of their HYDRA computers. Fitz and Simmons take off to find the Bus in Cuba, while Skye, Triplet, Coulson, and May head out to find a HYDRA mainframe in a barbershop Garrett, Ward, and Quinn seem to frequent. But, because things can never go right, Fitz and Simmons are caught and brought onto the Bus. Thankfully Fitz has a few of Triplett's grandfather's stuff, like a portable EMP, and a tracking device that looks like a quarter. Fitz sets off the EMP, and Garrett goes down as the cybernetics keeping him alive are fried. Turns out, he needed the secret to Coulson's revival to save himself. Raina ended up making a serum that may help, but it's not the same that resurrected Skye or Coulson. Fitz declares he's not sorry for killing Garrett and that he wants him to die. Ward scrambles to do everything he can to save him. In the distraction, Fitz and Simmons make it to a cargo hold, with Ward close behind. They lock themselves in, and watch as Ward enters a code into the computer, plunging the metal box they're in into the ocean. Raina injects Garrett with the serum she made, and he survives….with what side effects, I'm curious to see. I have a theory on which baddy Garrett becomes, but I am not so sure if I'm right or not. While that's happening Coulson, Skye, Triplett, and May, end up encountering some 'super soldiers' of their own. Quinn is talking about supplying his army of 'super soldiers' to the U.S. government to help save them from both HYDRA and S.H.I.E.L.D. Guys, I'm really worried, next week is the Season finale, which has both good and bad written all over it. Looks like we get a special guest star, and I certainly cannot wait to see what happens! There's so much going on! I hope we get another season, because I don't know how my Tuesday's are going to feel without this show!
