Often times when we are in trouble in life, we have a safety net that we can work with to get us out of it or at least deal with it. For instance, if we need money… there are likely family members or friends that we can garner a quick loan from to get our heads above water. Not to mention, those same folks can help us through a tough time emotionally. Since they know us and know how to keep our heads afloat. Plus, if the danger gets too great, perhaps say life threatening or harmful… then we have the police and other services to fall back upon and truly… all of these elements of our world, help us to sleep better at night. For we really do have somewhere to turn if by chance life takes one heck of a downward slide. But what’s fascinating about our world, is that not everyone is afforded those opportunities. For they might not have family and friends that can help them in the slightest. Or to make matters worse, turning to the police and other social services would in fact cause more harm than good because of the situation they are in. Which leaves one to wonder, just how those folks manage to get by when that is the case and well… it just so happens that this was explored in the next episode of The Outlaws on Prime Video. For when we catch up with Rani and Ben, and Christian in this tale, it was obvious that the Dean and his outright psychotic tendencies were going to make their efforts to contact the police, an outright impossibility. Since he threatened their families to keep them from doing so, and well, that motivated Rani to think of quite the plan to get out of this mess. In that, since Christian was heading into the slammer a for a bit for having violated his parole, the Outlaws could in fact, take over his business and aggressively make enough money to pay off the Dean and keep everyone safe. A plan that was immediately met with skepticism since John, Frank, and Myrna… somehow believed they could just magically reclaim the money and not have to stoop to selling drugs to pay off their debts to the Dean. But it didn’t take long for everyone to learn, that selling drugs was the only way out of this mess and well… when faced with that reality, the Outlaws got to work on understanding the business that Christian chose to make a living within in and that… allowed for them to surprisingly improve upon what they learned. For it became apparent that Christian wasn’t maximizing his revenue, but the business savvy of the group, combined with their smarts… could in fact do just that. Which is why everyone worked together to find new mailing groups with phone numbers through unusual avenues. To be able to mass text out the opportunity to buy drugs galore. Which was a plan that while risky at times, since Rani found her cover as an ‘Oxford Student’ almost blown… turned out to be a rousing success. Putting the Outlaws in business at last since their lists worked like a charm and well… this was… brilliant. Because such a move took the time to teach us that when folks are in that tough situation, they will in fact, move mountains to be free of it and enjoy what life has to offer. Hammering home, the reality that balance is indeed the nature of the universe. But what is equally as important here, is that for the first time in ages, the Outlaws were able to shine. Since each and every one of them contributed to this daring plan in a magnificent manner. And it was just amazing to see them all have purpose and focus during this difficult time and truly begin to work toward getting themselves out of a hole. Whether or not it will work, time will tell. Since the criminal underworld is a volatile and unforgiving place. But in this moment, the Outlaws are successful and close to swimming in a boatload of cash, and truly… it will be fascinating to see what comes of this plan. Since we simply don’t know if the good times will last or if greed, mistakes, or the Dean… will dash everyone’s hopes of quietly escaping this life through one hell of a score. Until next time
