Written by John Edward BetancourtWe always try to cover as many awesome projects that we possibly can and believe me, it isn't easy. We get a lot of requests to highlight incredible pieces of art from every possible entertainment medium out there. So it's always nice when something extremely unique comes across my desk, and that's what we are talking about today, a special project that needs your help. There is a company here in Denver known as Rocket House Pictures, and they recently embarked on a project of their own, a short film about love, rekindling old flames, adultery and murder, entitled; To Better Days. Now I understand that you're expecting me to talk about how they need funding for actors and a crew and all of those things, but that's why I wanted to talk about this project because it is in a special place. You see, To Better Days is currently in post production. It was shot in and around the city of Denver but principal photography wrapped up earlier this year. So while they are not asking for your help with the making of the film, they are asking for help...in getting the film seen. To Better Days is a project that needs to be experienced and the only way to do that is to get it into theaters. The best way to do that? Get it on the film festival circuit. But alas, the cost of festival entries can quickly mount up and that's where you come in. The Indie Gogo campaign for this film is designed for that sole purpose. They are looking for a little help in funding those festival entry fees all in the hope of hearing a yes from a festival and getting their vision on the big screen. So at the very least, head over to the page and take a look at this unique project and if you like what you see, well you know what to do. Either way, this is a great opportunity to help out the emerging film market in Colorado and a chance for all of us to step in and help an incredible project reach the silver screen.
