Written by ScottyThere is something that can be said when it comes to helping others. It does not matter if it is friend or a stranger, but being able to help them with their life problems, or just moving to a new apartment can show them that there are still people out there that care. With so many people willing to turn the other cheek when someone is in need, it is nice to see that there are still a few people out there that are willing to put their own problems aside for even an hour and focus on someone else for that time. Josh McManus is still on the road, but now he is focused on one thing, helping others. With the world changing as drastically as it has, people need the talents that Josh possesses to help keep them safe, along with their loved ones. Everything is different in the new world and the rules of men have been thrown out the window and anything goes, that is of course depending on which territory you are passing through. Trying to catch up with a young woman that has been kidnapped, Josh sees that she is strong, possibly stronger than some of the others he has helped save, but when she gets stabbed while trying to escape, Josh will have to find a place for her to receive medical treatment before she passes on. Pulling up to a barricaded town, Josh knows that she will be able to receive help inside, but the man guarding the gate are trying to blackmail Josh into just paying to get in. With help from Sofia, Josh enters the town with little hassle, since she knows the story of the man in black from the north that has never lost a fight. After getting Emily into the clinic, Josh finds out that the town doctor has actually left the premises and he has been commissioned by the leader Drake that he will save her when he finds The Shepherd that took her away from him. With little time to waste, Josh takes to the road and finds out that he is not alone on his travels. With Sofia hiding out in his trunk, Josh has to keep his eyes open for two once again, but he may be glad that she is with him. Trying to make it up north to find The Shepherd, the two encounter some nearby townsfolk that have taken a liking of meat, human meat. With his car being stolen and sold to another party that is not friendly to his mission, Josh is able to subdue the cannibals, and move towards the local swap meet to try and get his car back from Honcho, but little does he know that Drake and his men are watching his progress very closely and when Josh gets to his next destination, he is in for more of a surprise than he could ever expect. Shot in the chest twice and being left for dead, Josh has a decision to make, either ascend to the heavens above, or stay and continue his work on the planet. Josh choses the latter, since he knows his importance to many and because he has still not followed through on Emily’s safety. Being brought back to the living, Josh heads back to his mission of making sure the innocent are not unjustly taken advantage of by the wicked and evil. Knowing his endgame just makes him less worried about his family’s fate, along with his own in the future. This is the a great ending to the Revelation Road story, and who knows if there might be another one, since Josh is still out there on the streets trying to take care of the innocent. This story focuses more on what humanity has become as a whole after so many people have been claimed by the rapture. Reporting to a group in the background that is never seen, society has received rationed food and protection in lieu of what they bring to the party. With The Shepherd being deemed a key person in the prophecy, the ‘powers’ want him before anything can become true. But the part of the story that I fell in love with was Sofia wanting to understand how to believe. She is challenged once by a stranger to listen to her words, but continues to ask Josh to teach her what she does not know and how it can translate into her possible salvation. You see by the end of the movie that everyone has their own brand of faith and when all is said and done, they will find their own heaven, even if it is on a forsaken planet. Happy Viewing.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review my Revelation Road movies! I really appreciate it. I think you enjoyed them if you made it through part 3. We have plans to make more, but the timing and situation has to be right. Gabe Sabloff
