Written by ScottyNo good deed goes undone. It's a phrase that has stuck with me for several years. There is a benefit to helping out people in need, but if you find yourself doing it too often, it becomes expected and if you do not watch out, someone could take advantage of you. I will never say not to help somebody in need, but I will say to keep your eyes open and if something does not feel right about the situation, it may be more beneficial to walk away than to be the hero. Clay and his team of Losers are a highly trained operations force that only take on the high end priority missions. Doing what they are told without questions is what these soldiers are trained to do, but when their latest mission falls into a questionable area, they are tested on what their moral values really are. When taking out a drug dealer in Central America, the group find themselves not only targeting the bad man, but many children that he is using as mules to carry his product. The group is not able to call off the strike when the mysterious Max comes on the radio and calls off the abort. The group comes together and save all of the children before the dealers home is destroyed, but it is all for not as their escape helicopter is not large enough to carry the group and the children. Doing the right thing, the children are loaded on to be evacuated, but the word comes over the radio from Max once again to shoot them down. Standing in front of the crashed helicopter, the group decides it is time to disappear into the world and try to find out who has taken their lives away. With no way to make it back into the United States, they are given an offer from Aisha who has kept tabs on Max and will trade her knowledge for his death. Having kept their lives on hold for several months, the group is ready to go hunting for the man that ordered them dead. Not willing to give up and digging into every clue presented, the group finds that the infamous Max works for the CIA and has a plan to start wars wherever possible with the weapons he is paying to have designed. With the next generation SNOOK being built, Max has a weapon that can erase locations off of the map without a trace, along with everyone who may be occupying the area. The group has their target and will come together once again to prove their innocence along with trying to get their lives back from the only man that can clear them. The Losers is a story about a group of highly trained soldiers that were at the top of their game for any questionable mission put in front of them. When their last mission went awry with the loss of many children in their place, the group decided to go underground and try to get some money together to get any type of information they could find on Max, the CIA agent that ordered them killed. Trying to put an end to Max’s terror plans, the group is able to get control of all of his financials, but that is not what will stop Max from completing his task and the Losers need to find a way to keep him away from his new weapons. A fine action movie that has more of storyline than most bring to the screen. I liked how the dynamic of the group coming together and then falling apart as the situation starts to get more dangerous. With plenty of action and a ton of laughs, this is a movie that for the most part will keep you smiling, even when it ends. With plenty of levity to keep the situations from getting to serious, this movie gives you the insight of what might actually happen if an agent went rogue and wanted to start his/her own little war, and what, if anything will be done if nobody is watching. Happy viewing.
