Some provided us with a look at what’s to come for the Star Wars Saga, while others informed of us what to expect from Marvel Studios and some of their highly anticipated programs. Plus, we even garnered more information on the highly anticipated Willow series arriving later this year.
But it is important to note that the day’s announcements didn’t end with the flagship reveals. For other programs on Disney+ also had their day in the nerdy sun, take for instance the highly popular Disney+ series, Big Shot. For this show, which took the network by storm… was spotlighted today as well since an official trailer for season two was unveiled at the event and well, it just so happens that we have that trailer, and some information on the new season to share with all of you, courtesy of Disney+. “Big Shot” Season 2 follows Marvyn Korn (John Stamos) as he returns to Westbrook to show that his basketball team belongs in D-2 and that he’s still the championship-winning, powerhouse coach he was in the NCAA. Marvyn’s latest plan toward relevance is to get his team broadcast on ESPN and his method is to recruit an unlikely player: Ava (Sara Echeagaray), a gutsy beach volleyball phenom whose public tantrum got her ousted from her own sport. The 10-episode series stars John Stamos, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jessalyn Gilsig, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Tisha Custodio, Cricket Wampler, and Sara Echeagaray. “Big Shot” is produced by ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios.
