Denver Comic Con 2015 Guest Spotlight: Michael Hogan

It's been a magical last few days courtesy of Denver Comic Con.  Not only have they let us know that ticket sales will begin at noon on October 17, 2014, but they have already announced three guests and I'm sure more announcements are on their way.  

But yesterday's announcement, well this is one that left me with a smile on my face simply because I am a huge fan of Battlestar Galactica and it seems only fitting that since DCC brought in Admiral Adama last year, that this year we get his right hand man, Colonel Saul Tigh.  Yes ladies and gents, Michael Hogan is coming to Denver Comic Con 2015. 

Michael has been all over television in the last few years.  He's played General Donovan on Falling Skies, Sean Barlow on The Mentalist, General Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke on Smallville, and Grandpa Gerrard Argent on Teen Wolf.  But of course his biggest claim to fame was his role as Colonel Tigh in the 2003 reboot of BSG. 

In fact I would venture to say his finest work to date was on Battlestar since Hogan played an alcoholic Executive Officer, one that became more of a true hero in the third season and beyond and if you haven't seen the show, you're missing out since Michael stole many of the scenes he appeared in on the series because the man is an acting machine.  

I think this is a fantastic addition to next year's Denver Comic Con, and this one in particular already has me extremely excited to head back to the Colorado Convention Center for DCC2015, and I can't wait to see who they announce next!
