GalaxyFest II Kicks Off

It's convention season again everyone!  After the winter break it's time for all of us to come together and enjoy stories from the stars, drop some hard earned bucks on awesome memorabilia and of course, check out some amazing costumes.  

This year in Colorado, the season started at the Antlers Hilton in Colorado Springs with GalaxyFest II:  Wrath of the Con.  A zombie crawl on Thursday night was a mere tease as since the opening ceremonies started the event off with a bang, followed by Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination, Night of the Living Dead 1990) taking the main events stage for a Q&A before the evening moved on to a unique burlesque show.  

But there was plenty more to see of course, with panels covering Doctor Who, Doctor Horrible and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer that kept plenty of people entertained.  But like always, Friday night is merely the beginning and it did its job in getting all of us ready for Saturday's events.
