When stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan) recruits struggling actress Honey (Samantha) for a side gig, they are hurled into a high-stakes world of action, espionage, and betrayal. We felt that now is the right time to provide them with a window into the series with an action-infused trailer of the show that captures the incredible world ofCitadel: Honey Bunny. Raj & DK have added their signature quirk and charm to this high-octane spy thriller that promises to be a whole new thrilling ride for our audiences,” said Nikhil Madhok, Head of Originals, Prime Video, India. "Citadel: Honey Bunny is a significant project for us as it has given us the opportunity to be part of a larger, unprecedented world of spies and espionage that has never been done or even attempted before. We have created all our projects so far, but Citadel: Honey Bunny is our first collaboration. And that it is with the creative forces like the Russo Brothers, as well as a host of talented filmmakers and creators around the world, that made this an amazingly valuable creative experience,” said Raj & DK. "Bunny is unlike any role I’ve played before. As a spy, he not only leads a double life, but every aspect of his personality has two distinct sides, which was very exciting for me as an actor. Intricately woven into the storyline, his portrayal required me to draw on a blend of experiences and characters I’ve embodied over the years, as well as mentally and physically prepare for the grueling stunts and amped-up action scenes, making it one of my most challenging performances yet. And I am deeply grateful to Prime Video, Raj & DK, and AGBO for the opportunity to bring Bunny to life,” said Varun Dhawan. Samantha said, "The opportunity to be part of an action-packed entertainer with a gripping storyline, rich character depth, and intense hand-to-hand combats and stunts that rival international standards, along with the prospect to play an integral role in this collection of connected spy stories, is what drew me to this project. The challenges and efforts required to bring Honey to life have left a profound impact on me, both professionally and personally, making it one of the most significant roles of my career. I’m confident that the audience will thoroughly enjoy this series, not just in India but across the many countries and territories where it will stream on Prime Video." Written by John Edward Betancourt It was only a little over a week ago that we enjoyed the conclusion of one of the finest seasons of television that 2024 has offered up, courtesy of the Apple TV+ show, Slow Horses. Simply because season four of the show was as epic and as powerful as they come, and it featured amazing twists, amazing turns and moments that took our breath away and shook us to our core. To the point where we immediately began the countdown to the already announced fifth season, whilst still pondering on the wonder of season four. In fact, it was so good, that’s today’s announcement should come as no surprise. For earlier, Apple TV+ let it be known that Slow Horses will return for a sixth season. Which is huge, for in this era of uncertainty when it comes to renewals, this show has a two-season order in front of it, and beyond that… it just plain means we get more of the best spy drama on television. One that goes where no other spy drama will, and features some amazing acting, and amazing writing and to do this news justice, here are all the details regarding the show’s season six renewal, courtesy of Apple TV+. ‘Today, Apple TV+ announced a new, six-episode sixth season for the widely hailed, darkly comedic spy drama “Slow Horses,” following its season four finale. The Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning series stars Academy Award winner Gary Oldman, who has been honored with Golden Globe, Emmy and BAFTA Award nominations for his outstanding performance as the beloved, irascible Jackson Lamb. The “Slow Horses” season four finale premiered Wednesday, October 9, 2024 on Apple TV+. “Audiences around the world have fallen in love with the Slow Horses, and I’m delighted that Gary Oldman will be leading this star-studded cast on another acerbic and action-packed adventure,” said Jay Hunt, creative director, Europe, Apple TV+. “Slow Horses” has been celebrated as “undoubtedly the best spy series on television,” a "truly epic espionage thriller" that is "utterly brilliant" and just "so damn good." Hailed as "darkly funny and tighter than the buttons on Lamb’s sauce-stained shirt," the series features "a fully realized world, superb script, a stellar cast all at the top of their game and a lot of great action," that "gets better and better." All four seasons of “Slow Horses” hold a Certified Fresh score, with two seasons receiving a rare, perfect 100% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes, as the series continues to receive global accolades from critics and fans alike. Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge. “Slow Horses” is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world. The ensemble cast includes Academy Award nominee Kristin Scott Thomas, Emmy Award nominee Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, BAFTA Award nominee Samuel West, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Joanna Scanlan and Academy Award nominee Jonathan Pryce. The series is produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films, with Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Adam Randall, Gail Mutrux, Douglas Urbanski and Gary Oldman serving as executive producers. Season six is adapted for television by co-executive producer Gaby Chiappe, with Adam Randall returning to direct. The complete first four seasons of “Slow Horses” are now streaming on Apple TV+, and season five was announced earlier this year. Apple TV+ offers premium, compelling drama and comedy series, feature films, groundbreaking documentaries, and kids and family entertainment, and is available to watch across all your favorite screens. After its launch on November 1, 2019, Apple TV+ became the first all-original streaming service to launch around the world, and has premiered more original hits and received more award recognitions faster than any other streaming service in its debut. How ‘House Show’ Explores the Juggling Act Dreamers Take Part In
‘Jack, do what you gotta do. Just remember, for the people who love you, all you really gotta do is show up on their big days.’
There are a great many benefits that accompany rewatching the shows we love. For instance, it takes us back to a special time in our lives, when we felt the awe and wonder that watching an amazing new show provides us with. Not to mention, we get to enjoy every single stellar moment once again, something we simply cannot do in real life since moments never come again. But above all, we discover new lessons when we go back through our favorite shows, and that is why this rewatch of Heels we are all currently enjoying, is so worthwhile. Because we are quickly learning how layered this show is, and how many amazing lessons it buried within its framework, as evidenced by the next chapter in this story.
For ‘House Show’ is far more than a transitional tale, designed to showcase the characters’ lives and tender moments, as it first appears to be. Instead, it is a powerful think piece regarding another aspect of chasing our dreams that we don’t give much thought to. In that, every dreamer out there, regardless of where they are at in the pursuit of their dream… have to juggle so much. They have to be marketers’ full time; they have to pay the bills and above all… they have to figure out how the hell to keep their loved ones happy. Since there are dreamers that go home to a partner and children and that is no easy task. Because how on earth does one get all of that done? And for that matter, keep their partner happy and give their kids the time and love they need? Well, that’s the other incredible aspect of this episode. In that, it doesn’t answer those questions. Instead, it just showcases the struggle, and it accomplished that feat by taking us into the maelstrom surrounding Jack Spade. For when we caught up with him in this tale, he was trying to juggle recording a podcast with one of the biggest wrestling podcasters out there, Dickie Valentine, while figuring out how to boost ticket sales for the Fair since they weren’t where they needed to be. Oh, and he had to still make sure to be at the baptism happening in town so he could hear Staci sing, and he needed to spend time with Thomas. Not to mention, he still had to figure out if Wild Bill would feature into any of his plans for the match and the promotional work and well, that alone is a great way to explore what a dreamer has to juggle, because that’s the dreamer’s life right there. Plenty to do, but not enough hours in the day.
But since this series looks at everything carefully… it showcased how hard this is, and how dreamers often struggle and stumble to make magic happen. Because there aren’t enough hours in the day, and there isn’t enough energy inside of any one person to do all of that and that led to a lot of disasters for Jack. The kind that saw the podcast go nowhere because he went in unprepared to talk about heaver stuff on a podcast known for hitting hard and he missed the baptism and Staci’s song. Which meant, he paid the same price that all dreamers pay somewhere down the line. In that, he was in the doghouse. Because it was impossible for him to juggle all of those tasks and something had to give and this was, a powerful examination of the central theme of this episode.
Because it perfectly put on display the stressful juggling act dreamers take part in, and how they simply cannot juggle it all whether they like it or not. But alas, this is where they thrive, and this is where they survive until they’re at a point where they can enjoy time to do all the things. Which made for a powerful and thoughtful episode, one that was further enhanced by more fallout from Jack’s inability to be everywhere at once, since Rooster took his feathers to Charlie Gully’s Florida Wrestling Dystopia to be heard, and through another exploration in this tale regarding what the dreamer juggles. In that, they will also say and do some ‘stupid shit’ as Wild Bill put it, as they lose themselves within the chase, and it is important for a dreamer… to offer grace to themselves and offer apologies as need. Because that doesn’t make the dumb moment, right, and we saw that happen here through Ace, Crystal, and even Bill. Since they took the time to speak to their shortsightedness. All of which made, for another brilliant episode of this stunningly brilliant show. Because this is the kind of stuff that no other show about dreams and life has bothered to tackle and who knows if another one ever will. But that aside, it was just powerful to see so many relatable moments on display here and feel seen and heard. Because we either have been in Jack’s shoes or we will be, and it is nice to know that there is a show that can offer catharsis when we go on the hunt for what we want, and it was also beautiful, to see so many people grow here. Because it takes guts to apologize as so many did here, especially for transgressions done in your youth, but it was here, and it was glorious and it once again, leaves us eager to enjoy more of this rewatch. To see what other beauty, lessons, and majestic moments from everyday life, we will enjoy courtesy of one of the smartest shows on television. Until next time. Watch ‘Heels’

Caution: This article contains spoilers for Episode Eleven of ‘The Anonymous’. To revisit the previous episode, clickhere.
Often times, reality competition shows… hype up the finale in ways that are cinematic in nature. Courtesy of spicy montages that really do get one’s blood pumping, along with on screen moments that just make it seem as though we are about to watch two titans throw down to earn that right to be a winner, and we love it. Because it’s fun, epic, and exciting and escapist in nature, and that is why… The Anonymous on USA Network continues to surprise us in so many ways. Because this week’s episode, the penultimate one for season one, should have started that process, and provided us with sizzling setup for the final battle. But instead… ‘Buzzed Off’ was a vastly different kind of episode. For starters, it was emotional. For we learned in the early moments of this tale that Christopher won The Anonymous and made good upon his promise to make Dillian pay for ‘not doing enough’ by sending him home. Which brought about tears and fond farewells from the group, and a lovely goodbye speech from Dillian where he of course… revealed how good he was at the game via his handles. All before giving his friends in the game and the audience, one last runway walk. But once those farewells were handled, did the show shift gears and showcase… that in reality… the beginning of the end of a competition is not a sizzle reel, complete with one liners and explosive moments. But real people, who fully understand how close they are to winning or losing. Which gave rise to a very nervous episode. Wherein Nina pondered deeply upon safety to get a chance at the final round of the competition and where everyone else, frantically put together their final strategies for the last few times they’d be chatting and that led to attempts to gain leverage, such as when Marcel confronted Nina about her ties to Survivor, and a real push to be the best. Which was showcased in the challenge this week. Wherein the Sensational Six had to work together in two teams of three to move a bit of metal across an electrically charged pipe system for a chance at safety. One that would give them all a little zap if they didn’t move it perfectly. Which brought about a fierce push to win, and some contention since Lilly was loudly in pain when the shocks hit her. But in the end, Nina won the whole thing, and safety, and ten grand was added to the pot. With the challenge in hand that meant, it was time for one important Anonymous Mode. Where everyone was going to need to make incredible moves to lock up a chance in the finale and that led, to another unique set of moments. Since so many decided now was the time to employ new strategies. All in the hopes of getting to next week’s showdown and that made for such an interesting watch. Because up until now, it’s been a steady stream of deeply thoughtful strategies and carefully chosen words to deflect and secure the title of The Anonymous. But here, people were going for broke, trying hard to create that deflection and for some, like Andy, it backfired. Simply because he went up for elimination. In fact, it would seem that Christopher and Marcel are the top candidates for The Anonymous, and it will be interesting to see who they choose to send home. Because that will shape the Final Five and help to determine who will win this competition. Which makes this a very important elimination, one that could see the end of the line for a solid gamer for certain. But what matters most, is that this dynamic and refreshing show, made a point to once again offer up something new. A realistic look at what life is really like for the competitors at the end of a competition, and now we know… it is not all show and tension. It’s anxiety, it’s lots of thought and care regarding strategy and that really did make for a fascinating leg of the competition. One that leaves us in a bittersweet place. Because… we have in essence… reached the end of one amazing journey. Until next time. Watch ‘The Anonymous’

Caution: This article contains spoilers for Episode Four of ‘Brilliant Minds’. To revisit the previous episode, click here.
It really is quite amazing what the hit new NBC series, Brilliant Minds, is accomplishing from a storytelling standpoint. Because not only is this series eager to offer up a story about a kinder, gentler doctor, one who believes in using a village to heal the wounded… but this series is doing its best to heal the audience through its characters and its stories. After all, we’ve learned how important it is to be kind in this story and what it means to live in the moment and enjoy its wonder, and this week’s episode of the show, offered up another unique life lesson regarding healing. In that, something we all need to do more of, is forgive ourselves for our actions. Because it is, as Dr. Wolf so eloquently put it in ‘The Blackout Bride’, a finite resource, one that we could find more of if we tried. But we tend not to. Something this show expressed in a very unique manner, that we will get to in just a moment. Because we also need to discuss the John Doe storyline in this tale. Simply because, that segment offered up incredible growth for Dr. Kinney and Dr. Nash. Moreso… the latter of the two. Since Nash cared not about John Doe, despite the fact that Wolf tasked them with trying to find a reason to keep him at the hospital. He just saw him as a lost cause as so many did. But Dr. Kinney reminded him, that John Doe was a person, who deserved the same respect as anyone else, and eventually, Nash agreed and offered that kindness, that care. Which in turn, led to physical movement from John, and the understanding he might not be in a coma. But what mattered more here, was that this segment reminded us again to just be kind, and how that can accomplish wonders for those in need. However, there was mention of a unique case to accompany the lesson of the week, and that came forth by way of a badly broken bride, named Bridget. Who stumbled into the ER, covered in blood and crying out for her fiancé, Charlie, and she was also… out of her mind high because of some drugs she and Charlie took before they tied the knot. And since she was so far gone, Wolf decided to take the last drop of her drugs and head out into the world with Dr. Dang to retrace Bridget’s steps. To find Charlie and uncover what happened. Which led, to some incredible comic relief in this tale. Because Dr. Wolf not only dropped a healthy dose of Molly, but it was one laced with PCP and that led to some wild moments from the normally reserved doctor, that were indeed funny, and a tad scary when the temper side of the drug kicked in. But eventually, Wolf reached a good stabilizing point and Dana kept him in check long enough for them to discover Charlie. Who was badly bleeding thanks to an icepick puncture, one that Bridget inflicted. Which seemed like no big deal at the time, since Wolf and Dr. Dang got him back to the ER in time, where he was able to fill in the blanks, and speak to a rare condition that Bridget had, which in turn led to her own life being saved. But sadly… Charlie’s wound led to complications. The kind that required emergency surgery that failed, and that meant he passed away on his wedding night, and that brought forth the lesson. Because regardless of the fact that Bridget was high as a kite and never truly intended to harm the man she loved, she did. She crossed the line and would forever have to live with that moment being her final moment with her love, and that brought forth, a grand discussion upon forgiveness. One that correctly pointed out, that it doesn’t matter how good we are or how we aspire to be more, we are going to do some very stupid things in life. The kind that will hang over our heads, and bring forth stunning regret, and well… what do we do with that? Well, the majority of us… do nothing with it. We let the guilt and the sorrow, stay with us, drive us and it can take us down dark paths, because we believe we cannot offer forgiveness. Not to those involved, if any were, and not to the person we see in the mirror. But Bridget’s journey and Dr. Wolf’s memories regarding his father taught us, we must. We must offer it because it stunts us, jades us, and puts us on a trepidatious path from which there is a long and winding return. One we can avoid by offering grace, by offering forgiveness and that made for a very unique tale. One that hammered home the lesson in a powerful and dynamic manner that was impactful, and it also made, for a different kind of episode. Since it is rare to have a television show remind us to forgive ourselves and others, since we live in a world where toughing it out is the norm. But this series is unlike any other medical drama out there, and the lesson here will indeed stay with us for a long time. For it was filled with stories and individuals that seemingly were designed to mock our modern world and poke fun of certain styles and cultures. But thankfully, it quickly evolved. Since this taste of reality inspired others to ponder upon what other corners of the world we could explore on our television screens, in a respectful manner no less, and what being authentic might mean for competition and game shows down the line. Which brought forth, the modern era of reality television. A place that did less insulting and more educating and celebrating, and yet, this format was not done with its evolution. For in 2024, there are more and more creatives asking… what else can reality television do? Can it become a true celebration of the wonder of the world? Of the good things and amazing stories in our world that we often forget about, and can it showcase inspiring journeys that leave us ready to chase our dreams and do what we love? Well as it turns out, there is a show out there… that answers all of those questions with a resounding yes. Simply because it features both of those elements in a single half hour, and that makes aspireTV’s Style Kings, quite the powerful and poignant reality television show. One that accomplishes such incredible feats by taking us inside the lives two entrepreneurs that are accomplishing wonders right now. For Dedrick Thomas and Justin Q. Williams are two self-made men. Who decided one day that they wanted to go out and live their passion and be the best at what they do, and in doing so, built two powerhouse businesses. For Dedrick is now a go-to for anyone that wants to look good since his love of fashion has made him a true expert in the field. And Justin, loves the notion that our home is our castle and that it should reflect the royalty that resides within it, and that has made him… an expert interior designer that is highly sought after by individuals. And week in and week out, Dedrick and Justin enrich lives by making their clients’ homes look good and by making them look good. Which at first glance doesn’t quite seem to explore those questions and instead just offers up more of the same, but it is what happens as Dedrick and Justin get to work that truly makes this series so special. Because we don’t see these two gentlemen just go through the motions. We see their passion on display. For they want their selections, to be perfect for their client, and their passion in infectious and reminds us of passion’s power and what happens when we thrive within it. Which is inspiring for certain and is only further enhanced by the fact, that Dedrick and Justin, are doing it. They’re living their dream, they’re immersed in what they love and are supremely successful at it, and that sends your spirits soaring and leaves you wondering what you need to do to be like them, and of course… you’re also curious to see the final product. For Dedrick really does understand the majesty of fashion and what makes people look good, and Justin transforms homes with his keen eye and understanding of the flow of a home, of a room, of a workspace. All of which makes for a magnificent reality series. One that is wholesome, wondrous and truly energizing… and progressive and important. Because it is not lost on this writer that this series showcases two extremely successful black men, thriving in their industries. Something we don’t see enough of on television and that makes this a special show as well, one that does a lot for representation and we here at NTG hope you give this show a look. To enjoy the beginning of the next generation of reality television and to sit through a wholesome and inspiring reality show, one that is truly on the cutting edge. Written by John Edward Betancourt
Caution: This article contains spoilers for Episode Six of ‘The Chicken Sisters’. To revisit the previous episode, click here.
When we last settled in to discuss the fascinating and refreshing Hallmark+ series, The Chicken Sisters, we took a moment to point out that Mae, had made quite the observation about healing. One that few people ever say aloud. In that, in order to heal, we actually have to want to be better. We can’t just say it. We have to embrace healing, embrace the changes that will come along in that process and embrace the chaos that surrounds that. For healing is not an easy process, but nothing worthwhile ever is, and that revelation was so powerful and so profound that we forgot to ask the next question critical when it comes to healing with that in mind. In that, what then… inspires us to change and heal? Because that’s really what holds us back, the fact that we cannot find a reason to, and well… the next episode of this series pointed out, what brings that forth. A feat that ‘I Choose to Be Happy, Y’all’ accomplished by bringing more chaos to Merinac. Simply because, this week’s episode featured an important moment in the competition. Specifically, it was time to film the side dishes competition segment. Wherein the men of the two restaurants would create perfect side dishes that would be judged by some of their fellow citizens, and well, Sabrina decided to flip the two kitchens to make things interesting and that brought about the chaos and the lesson in question. Because Sergio won the day, mainly because Frank Jr. had himself a tiny little temper tantrum. Okay, he had a big one. All because he wanted to be in charge and have everything be perfect, and his fury, and the anger that Amanda expressed toward Mae, combined with the fist fight that came forth when Sergio won… opened up Amanda’s eyes to her current situation. For she came to realize, that she was indeed just forcing happiness upon herself, and lying to herself. Plus, she was making every attempt to just create something that didn’t exist. Which was love with someone she didn’t care for, and that truth, helped her to understand, she would never be happy unless she went after what she wanted in this life. Which prompted some fascinating immediate changes from Amanda. For instance, she opened up to her daughter and finally had a frank conversation with her, the kind she’s always wanted. Giving rise to a measure of peace between them at last, and honesty, and of course… she came back to Sergio, and was close to him because she also wanted passion in her life. Because when we take a minute to see the truth about our situation and understand how unhappy we are, we enact change. Granted, it was fast here in this instance but that’s okay. Sometimes we are ready to move and sometimes… we need time. Which was why Mae continued to explore herself in this story with her bestie, to learn more truth about herself to better enact change, something her fiancé will likely help with since he’s in Merinac now. Not to mention Nancy and Gus took the first steps in their journeys as well, and oddly enough… Frank Jr. may help move them along. Simply because at the end of this story, his bruised and battered ego, and likely a six pack, prompted him to do something quite mean. In that, he called the health department on Gus. For no good reason. Which will undoubtedly inflict drama and strife because Frank Jr. is the epitome of a toxic male, complete with unresolved trauma that he ‘resolves’ by projecting his pain onto others. Which reminds us that some people… take a long time to get to the point where they understand the time has come to change. But while we wait to see him wake up, we can celebrate a story that embraced this concept and saw so many begin to see their truth and understand the need to move forward and work to be better and it will be interesting to see how everyone progresses, as their healing journey gets underway. Until next time. Watch ‘The Chicken Sisters’
