Normally when we think of celebrations in the land of entertainment, we think of red-carpet events. Because that is a great way to bring people together that worked on a project, along with their friends and family, to truly showcase and celebrate a job well done regarding the creation of a masterpiece of art. But there are of course, more ways than that to really honor the work that went into a particular creation, as evidenced by the party that took place the other day.

For RuPaul and several Queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race gathered to bask in the wonder of the franchise’s 10 Emmy Nominations, in style. Courtesy of a roller rink party where RuPaul served as the DJ while everyone skated about and enjoyed one heck of a time, and outright proved… there are so many unique ways to commemorate the work that goes into creating the art we so love. ‘Please enjoy photos and highlights from last night’s special RU-ller rink event where the queens of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 celebrated an impressive 10 Emmy® nominations for the franchise. RuPaul served as the DJ for the evening and bumped a sickening playlist that had everyone groovin’ as queens from the season - Sapphira Cristál, Q, Dawn, Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige, Xunami Muse, Megami, Mirage, Geneva Carr, Amanda Tori Meating, and Hershii LiqCour-Jeté - traded their heels for skates.

The event took place on the rooftop of the iconic West Hollywood, CA restaurant, E.P. & L.P., where attendees took a spin around the roller rink and enjoyed sunset cocktails.
