Written by John Edward BetancourtThree siblings, all from royalty. A mission awaits them, given to them by a goddess they know only through her voice, courtesy of their dreams. It is a journey that will force them to grapple with a choice, the future, or their family. If that sounds intriguing, believe me it is. That fantastic concept is courtesy of author Robin Childs (a.k.a. Robin Dempsey) the brains behind the awesome comic series, Ley Lines. We have covered Robin's incredible work before with good reason, this fantasy adventure of hers instantly draws you in. It is in a nutshell, as epic as they come. So much in fact that Robin has two volumes of this story available. But what makes the story so compelling? After all a fantasy adventure is awesome but it needs something more to truly find its way into our hearts. Well when it comes to Ley Lines the material is relatable. You'll find storylines that deal with political conspiracy, or family. All things we discuss or deal with in our daily lives. But while we can connect with the material, it is the sprawling world that continues to impress. If anything, Robin has created an incredible universe, one so rich in its storytelling that the time has come for the third volume of her work and she has started a Kickstarter campaign to get the third volume of these wonderful stories into print. Robin is well known for offering some incredible incentives when it comes to her Kickstarter campaigns and this go round is no exception. In fact perhaps one of the coolest incentives I see, is the Dream Eater's TOTALLY TRUE (I swear) Trickster Tales! a collection of short stories, comics and illustrations. The Kickstarter alone is worth a look and take it from us, this whole storyline is one to check out and one worth supporting.
